I'll defer to you re: basics/in ring abilities but I really do think unless they call up Chase U as a whole she, by herself, as-is would be near dead in the water. She just runs around screaming, which is fun a long as she has someone to bounce off of but solo I'd think comes across as weird and unfocused.

People have made it work with less for sure, but I think wrestlers generally stop growing when they hit main roster (so she'd be about as good now as she's ever going to get) and I don't think she's so hot you have to strap the rocket to her damn the consequences. You'd be sacrificing her future growth for her present trajectory and IMO that's not a great tradeoff.

Indi has been due for a change in character. I hope she fully turns heel on Saturday. Not gonna lie though, I was hoping for pre match shenanigans where someone (Wendy) would get taken out and replaced by a returning Tiffany Stratton. I remember she did something like that before, like a breakout tournament or something??

Roxy's the new champ! She beat Mandy clean, and without Toxic Attraction's involvement.

I think we may see Toxic Attraction get the much deserved call-up.

I think Roxy was the right call. Her story really came together to culminate in this believable win.

The women’s roster in NXT is at its hottest right now with a talent pool that’s never been deeper. I think 2023 is gonna be great for the girls and Roxanne Perez is a great pick to lead the division.

Shocked about Mandy Rose wanting her release, maybe she wants a part time schedule and wants to raise a child with Tino. Really odd decision.

I think Gigi & Jacy can make this work by themselves but maybe they can use a valet first.

I know there was a leak of her OnlyFans. But between what happened with her and Sonya during that break in and this, maybe she just needs a breather. 

Damn, absolutely sucks to see they released Mandy, was loving her NXT run and was hoping to see her back on the main roster.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kayden and Katana, defend their NXT women's tag team titles tonight, in a triple threat tag team match, should be good stuff I reckon.

Great tag match. I think team tiktok is actually doing great work for the nxt women’s tag division. Their spot-heavy wrestling has made things more exciting. That and nxt has always excelled in multi-woman matches.

I don't want to dump all over Scrypts necessarily but I am curious how the pitch meeting went in the writers' room for this character

Not entirely sure how I feel about these entrances - with the AR rain, Axiom's slow mo stop motionish entrance, back in the day Vaudevillains had the B&W entrance and so did Karrion Kross (dunno if he still has that) which is all well and good for TV but can't be done at all for the live audience.

I don’t think I really care for Lyra Valkyria. She has a few flashy moves but uses a splash as a finisher? Huh? Also the gimmick is more of a personality than a character. She’s the Morrigan so she’s really intense! I was more invested in Lash Legend in tonight’s match.

Yeah I guess they don’t like her doing something as risky as a top rope scissors kick like she would in NXTUK but certainly someone so talented should use something more inventive than a splash.

If Scrypts was wrestling in AEW, he wouldn't be awful, he'd be an ironic take on WWE's developmental system.

For anyone unaware, Dragon Lee is an excellent signing for NXT. He’s got insane talent and has had great matches over the past few years in NJPW, AAA, and ROH. He also recently competed in the Trios tournament partnering with Dralistico & RUSH in AEW.

Strangely enough, Dragon Lee also just won the AAA Tag titles tonight off FTR with Dralistico.

You know damn well AEW wanted him to team with RUSH as well.  

And yeah, he was grabbed to replace Rey as the lucha guy.  HHH could also be using him as a trial to raid AAA.  Handful of guys there would be hits in WWE.

I welcome the indie raid. I'm sick of these WWEPC kids clogging up NXT - they're awful. NXT is awful. Fuck it could be worse than AEW ATM.
