I wouldn't want to coach in the SEC either. Everybody is playing 2nd fiddle to Saban. Where if you go anything other than unbeaten contending for a playoff spot, everybody else wants to fire their coach.

Brian Kelly will always be known as the guy who never won the big one but he really stabalized Notre Dame football in the worst way. After Charlie Weis and previous to that, Tyrone Willingham failed to get the Irish to be anything more than a overhyped team of air minus the Brady Quinn or Jimmy Clausen eras, it was Brian Kelly who really revitalized this side into being a double digit team that despite never hanging against Alabama or Clemson(Most of the time) or Ohio State, was still a heck of a team. All time winning ND coach, can recruit pretty darn well, ushered in new blood in the coordinator spots like no tomorrow. Going to miss Kelly, he did a terrific job for Notre Dame. Yeah he had some antics like his tirades on the sidelines but he tempered down mightily on that. Guy did a fanastic job for ND. He had that fiasco ages ago where a college student who was apart of the film room team went on a windy tower and ended up falling to his death as well but on the field, Kelly did a damn good job. Wonder if the new scenery or how serious LSU football is with it's boosters ended up sealing the deal for him to join the Tigers. 

Really curious where the Dame go from here. Do they go back and take Cincinnati's head coach again in Luke Fickell? Does Matt Campbell of Iowa St who has gotten some buzz in the coaching circles for the pros opt to leave ISU and join the Irish? Does Urban Meyer get 1 and done in Jacksonville and look to (finally) join the Notre Dame side he spurned for Florida years ago even with his health concerns?

Dumb move by him IMO, hes leaving a team that still could play in the college football playoffs in a month time for a the dominate SEC actually if reports are true and its 100 million over 10 years its a offer you cant refuse

Didn't read this story till today, Brian Kelly owned Robert Saleh & Matt LaFleur. Both are NFL head coaches so they got the last laugh but damn that's kind of douchey by Kelly :lol:.

He goes from Def. coordinator to head coach, Tommy Rees stays on as off. coordinator. Seems like a solid move. Not a sexy pick at HC but the players love him and believe in him. He recruited guys hard too. 35, current/former/boosters fought for him to stay. Strength coach, OC and DC(Now HC) all stay, Brian Kelly not getting anybody :lol:.

Saleh said like two days that it was overblown but I can see how Brian Kelly can turn people the wrong way. His verbal abuse of a 18-19 year old QB on the sidelines that was caught on national TV was pretty damn bad. 

The southern accent part is hilarious though.

I know a ton of fast guys get compared to Tyreek and none will probably ever actually live up to it but Williams is as close as I’ve seen. Ruggs was fast but not nearly as smooth and fluid. Williams was running away from Georgia. It was fun to watch.

Nope I am wrong, he is 2022 eligible 0_0 woah. If Jets can trade down in round 1, I want him or Wilson.

It hasn't been SEC vs SEC for three seasons now. These matchups make more sense than doing Bama/Georgia again in the semi.

The C.F.P. is a TV show. The Bearcats going against the Crimson Tide is far more compelling in the semi-final than an SEC title rematch.

lol, just because I barely post here these days doesn't mean I'm dead! I don't watch pro wrestling anymore and combine that with the domain change, sometimes I forget this place exists.

Despite a rocky ending, this was a great season for the Deacs. I enjoyed every second of it.
