Arch Manning has committed to Texas. So it will be back to back 1.000 QBs for the Longhorns with Quinn Ewers transferring over from Ohio State.

In "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?" news, there's rumors going about that the two flagship schools of the PAC-12, USC and UCLA, are planning to join the Big Ten. It could come as early as 2024.
ESPN's even talking about this.
This can't happen, right?
Imagine the PAC without its two biggest schools. You might as well drop them from the Power Five, and move the AAC up to its place.

Well it not just a rumor its offical Sources: USC and UCLA have been notified that their application to join the Big Ten has been accepted. The schools will begin play in 2024. Yeah the big 10 which is supposed to represent the midwest will have teams from new jersey and california, so much for regional conferences, not to mention it will have all most double the 10 teams in there name.

Yeah this is definitely heading towards two mega conferences. The Pac-12 will probably splinter now, Oregon and Washington will be looking to follow them. You'd have to think Notre Dame will want to be in with most of their big rivals too.

The event that will definitely hurt the most out of this, will be the Rose Bowl. Which traditionally it had the best Big Ten team go against the best PAC team. And for the longest time, you saw USC and UCLA in those games playing against the likes of Michigan and Ohio State.
Now that they're together in the same conference, The Granddaddy of Them All feels a lot less grand.
