Looking at AEW's PPV results, last years All Out had Britt Baker vs. Big Swole, as well as Hikaru Shida defending the women's title against Thunder Rosa on the main card.

Oh yeah I put Britt/Swole out of my mind because it was so bad. If I remember correctly, that too was actually originally planned for the Buy In too before everyone tweeted at TK and made him put it on the show proper.

Miro really did a 180 after his debut from what is he doing to this is one of the best things on the show. Easily my favorite AEW current champion there.

Yeah, and wasn't it only a goofy cinematic match because one of Britt's many injuries stopped them from doing it properly?

Opening tag match was alright. Too spotty for my liking, guys would take like five moves in a row and then be on offense 10 seconds later like nothing happened. Nothing mattered and the moves that would get the three count was kinda arbitrary. No drama. Video game wrestling. AEW tag team wrestling in a nutshell.

Another perfect CM Punk segment. That's three for three. Punk looked great on offense, he was full of fire and rage, and that Go To Sleep is better than the ones I've been seeing from KENTA recently. Cool promo from Sting to wrap up the segment.

Love JR's "interview". He asks one question then Jericho cuts a five minute promo while JR stands in the corner twiddling his thumbs. JR was completely unnecessary for that. Come to think of it, the Schiavone/MJF segment wasn't much different, but it felt more like an interview because they were seated backstage. Honestly though, Jericho vowing to be on commentary full time if he loses is the absolute best way to make me want to root for Jericho. MJF will be the top heel if he's responsible for having that annoying screecher on the announce desk every single show.

Malakai Black, directly refuting the weird narrative that Black was somehow scared of Johnson. Thanks for setting the record straight. Love the Greek mythology reference too.

As much as I don't care for Big Show, Nightmare Factory, and Gunn Club...that was good. That felt like a big deal. It felt important. Well done.

Good stuff in the women's division. Solid match between Ford and Conti. Awesome return of Anna Jay. She's one of my favourites and nice to see her getting a strong reaction. Cut straight to Thunder Rosa! Yes! Oh...she's cut off immediately and beat up in a lame segment. Damn. That ended the women's section of the show on a cold note. Oh well.
