AYYYYYY Sammy! That was a fun match.

Good start and a good ending to that show. Middle was pretty ordinary.

Dan Lambert sucks so much he got the first "What" chant in AEW history.

It has been a crap feud no doubt, but should mercifully be over after Tay and Anna won clean. I thought it was so stupid that the brass knuckles didn't even factor into the match tonight given that was the whole storyline (as basic as it was). Hopefully Penelope and especially Bunny take a backseat for a while and some of the better women come back to the fore.

Really liked Adam Cole vs Jungle Boy. Both guys scouted the other's moveset which made for an exciting contest with a lot of nice counters and reversals. The near fall after the Panama Sunrise was a rare occasion in which exaggerated shock from a wrestler was justified. Cool finishing stretch with Cole needing to play dirty to get the win.

Omega/Danielson promo was alright. I was expecting Omega to ask Danielson to wrestle Cutler or Nakazawa on the spot, but instead Danielson rudely interrupts and we get the millionth Christian and co. vs Elite standoff.

I agree with the PW folk: that Arn Anderson promo was confusing.

Skipped a couple of matches, good promo from Dan Lambert and company. Decent segment between MJF and Darby Allin - that's a very intriguing matchup. Shida vs Deeb should be excellent.

Wasn't a massive fan of the main event. Not sure why, the match just felt off. There were some nice near falls later on in the match. The final couple of minutes were kinda dumb though. Miro beats himself by ripping off the corner pads and having them used against him. Well, we have a new champion. I'm OK with that. Sammy is a much better choice than Eddie Kingston.

Seems like Anna Jay is being moved away from Dark Order. Since she came back from injury she's been much more involved with Tay than Dark oRder. It used to be that Anna would still be wearing purple/Dark Order themed gear, now she's straight up just matching Tay's gear. And Anna used to be very into doing the Dark Order hand pose thing, now she barely flashes it before going into her best friend secret handshake with Tay. I'm happy that she's getting some character progression or whatever, but I think she needs to be in a group still.

Can we get Dan Lambert off my tv screen? He is literaly the only thing that makes me change channels or fast forward in AEW, like I even watch all the Matt Hardy stuff. I don't want a UFC crossover, I just want wrestling please.

Cole/Jungle boy was good shit; Sammy/Miro was good shit.

I'm happy that we're turning a corner with the Cody heel turn or whatever META heel thing is happening. CM Punk was subtle as a brick pointing out the little details that have been building for awhile.

I am amazed Shotty Lee didn't fail and was looking at Cody like he was the loser here. AA was probably trying to just motivated Cody because everyone else Anderson coach loses a lot more then they win. I think Anderson messed up the analogy. He either should have done another one to show how doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity. If he wanted to do the car robbery one he should have said Cody would have fought back and got killed because he was to dumb to know when he is outmatched.

Also I won't be surprised is they did a supernatural story line where Cody tattoo talked to him and gave him bad advice. Ending when he finally gets it removed.

The dark order segment was heartwarming. Nice to see 10 dropping the goofy clown mask. 3 and 4s move rush finisher followed by Fatality. Be nice if Tay officially joined.

Leo Rush is back that good.

Miro vs. Sammy was fine. I think he should have ended it after GTH since the 630 looked a little sloppy. But I know he was probably nervous first big title win in a major company. Though I would have keep the belt on Miro longer.

That Spanish fly should have ended up the match. Was freaking amazing to see a guy as big as Miro do it so fluidly.

I preferred Anna Jay when she was the Dark Order's heel female enforcer. She had a menacing presence. This "happy to be here" Anna Jay isn't working for me; I'm not convinced by the intensity she has shown in this feud. It doesn't look natural to Anna Jay, in contrast to Tay Conti who is naturally a bubbly and happy person, but who can also bring the fire when needed. Maybe this new side of Anna Jay will improve with time.

That move annoys me when a smaller guy does it on a bigger guy. Kills my suspension of disbelief as the guy taking the move is clearly doing a lot of the work.

You know, Rush as a manager could do wonders for AEW and keep him mostly risk free, which is what he wanted earlier this year.

You can use Rush as Jade's new advocate. Time to upgrade.
