Punk/Garcia should bang but I’m hoping they start a serious program for Punk soon. It’s only just over a month until Full Gear. He needs something he can really sink his teeth into.

I really enjoyed the women's match, Serena is such an important cog in the division, and it was absolutely the right decision to have her win. Keep this feud going for a bit!

The main event was predictably awesome with some cracking spots - Pac earns my MVP for taking two ridiculous bumps off the ladder, the Sunset Bomb (perhaps supplanted the Eddie/Edge one as the best of all time) and then the Dead Eye through the table.

What are the essential Hangman moments I should go back and watch?

Depending on how much you’ve watched AEW, there’s his tag title run with Kenny Omega that started all this. Their title match against The Young Bucks got 6 stars and was awesome.

The Stadium Stampede match was a lot of fun too. Page’s bar fight against Hager was a nice touch on an otherwise insane, goofy match.

Pre-AEW, he had a good run at G1 28 and had a great match against Okada. I think his match against Suzuki was good too if I remember correctly.

There’s a match I watched where he fought Jay White but I can’t remember from which show. All I remember is the crowd was dead at the start and by the end they were going wild. Probably Page’s best match before AEW.

Then of course there’s this entrance that I’ve watched at least a dozen times because it’s one of the loudest pops I’ve ever heard for an entrance:

A bit presumptuous of AEW to write Hikaru Shida's name on the 50 wins trophy, basically saying she will beat Serena Deeb no questions asked. If I was Deeb I would be pissed as well, and I would have smashed the trophy over Shida's head after tapping her out. I did not boo Serena Deeb. Solid match, nice to see a high profile women's match not connected to Britt Baker and her championship.

Ladder Match was kinda odd. A lot of wrestlers just showed up and then disappeared. Andrade hit like two moves the entire match. Ditto for Matt Hardy. PAC took a few bumps. The match lasted a long time but it seems most of the wrestlers barely did anything. Moxley randomly falling off the ladder made it look a bit too easy, but a great moment for Hangman Page. He's still super over. Great timing, wait until the excitement from Punk, Danielson and Cole has cooled down then put the rocket on the Cowboy.

Now we get a new long and dull Super Elite feud. Delete Danielson, Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus. Replace with Hangman Page, John Silver, and two other guys from Dark Order because I don't remember all their names or numbers or whatever.

Anyway Hangman vs Omega will be awesome.
