I don't really know the whole story, I guess Sammy broke up with his girlfriend who was a regular on his youtube vlog, and then twitter/reddit drama ensued. I don't really know the whole deal, tweets were deleted before I saw them, but it was something to the extent of people making assumptions and calling Sammy a cheater w/ Tay. Fuego has posted an outro about the sort of thing




Fuego speaks a bit about respecting personal lives and all that. 

I guess I wanted to ask thoughts on that with respect to vlogs and such. The dark order for instance got over on Being the Elite, but it seems they were more mostly in character. I hadn't watched Sammy's vlog, so watched a bit of the recent episodes after hearing this stuff. Sammy's vlog does not feel kayfabe at all, it feels very much like real life backstage stuff. I could understand why people would make the guess that Tay and Sammy were an item, and think there was a possibility that was the reason for Sammy breaking up. 

So what do the wrestlers owe the fans in terms of details of their lives? Does that change dependant upon the wrestlers social media usage? Does the fact some wrestlers use twitter as a shoot feud thing. I feel like Jordynne Grace/Gresham/Ogogo nonsense fits in these questions.

What I guess happened is Pam use to be featured more on Sammy's vlog than suddenly she stop appearing there. Later Sammy said it was because they were already broken up at the point. Tay is the close female to Sammy and is attractive. It must have been her. Which is some horrible logic.

Sammy is a lot more known nowadays so if another woman did come into the picture it is because he gain a lot more options due to being on national tv.

Think the reason why ia because he failed a test of morality. There are many people that think his interactions with Tay would be inappropriate for someone with a girlfriend. Im not saying that is necessarily a reasonable opinion, or that having a thought like that makes it ok to harass someone.

I get what you're saying nazzer and I tend to agree. It can be two things at once:

-nobody should harass anyone online because it's a dick thing to do. Don't be an asshole.

-if you're going to share your personal life online on a platform thousands of people watch, you're going to attract negative attention eventually and have to be prepared for that.

It's kind of immature that Sammy posts aspects of his personal life online, proposed to his ex-fiancee in a public setting, then got mad that people were talking about his personal life. It's also kind of lame that Tay Conti deleted her social media because some trolls showed up and she couldn't take it. But at the same time, it's their lives and their accounts and they can do whatever they want so whatever.

I can barely keep up with what AEW puts on TV so I don't watch any of the extra stuff these people do with vlogs and streams and whatever else, but I hope that they keep doing them in spite of a small group of assholes because it's really awesome that AEW embraces all forms of social media and uses it to their advantage.

No, you're right. I knew a couple that put most of their drama on Facebook. My male friend got pissed at me for commenting on his bullshit. I never understand that logic. With that being said, there's a difference between having an opinion & harassing people.

I don't have a great deal of respect for many in AEW in regards to their social media activity. The Bucks are two of the most obnoxious jackasses in the industry, and quit social media because of the toxicity. Despite the irony.

Much like with Carmella and Graves, Wyatt/Windham and Jojo Offerman, Rollins and Zahra, it's such a shitty thing to happen to the wife here. At least with those three though, no matter the excuse, they work and tour full time and are away from home so much. What is Guevara's excuse here? He has a far more flexible schedule.

I stay away from the personal life stuff and try to not judge a wrestler unless it's something deplorable. If this was at all true, Conti knows he was engaged/married, not sure why she felt the need to take advantage or welcome Guevara's advances.

I try not to look down on these husbands/dads but more so like to shine light on the Kevin Owens, The Miz and AJ Styles of the world who are family men, and look out for their family no matter. Owens has an autistic son yet stays by his side and his wife's side and is an absolute man of men for doing so and I am happy for him recently securing the bag for his family. I root for people like that.

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you, however, considering Sammy proposed on TV, it's fair play for people to discuss the fall out of the relationship. If Sammy wanted privacy, he never should have put it out there in the first place/forced people to see the proposal when all they wanted was to watch wrestling.
