Elway had far more in Denver than Stafford ever had in Detroit.

Early Elway never had a player even close to as good as Calvin Johnson.

He had the 3 Amigos an offensive line and an actual defense.    Megatron was all Stafford had those years.

There's no arguing with the Lions being a shitty organization when BOTH Megatron and Barry Sanders retired early. You can't tell me it didn't have something to do with the organization being straight shit.

Who do you put in the HOF first, IF you had to? Matthew Stafford or Philip Rivers? Matt Ryan can never get into the HOF because you just can't put the QB of the 28-3 SB team into the HOF. Too big of a stain on his legacy. Rivers was great for so long, but has no ring to show for it. I don't know. All 3 of these guys are in the same category for me. The maybe, but meh category.

Stsfford has a ring, Rivers dosen't.  Rivers also has some of the worst playoff chokes on his resume.   Whereas Stafford won the second he got on a good team.
