My apologies for the delay guys! I didn't realize time was moving so fast, but we are here!
Only two people have correctly picked the Bengals to make the Super Bowl and both have collected their 5 bonus points! @admin has maxed out with his 5 bonus points for correctly picking the Bengals to reach the Super Bowl, but it is the top dog Todd who is at the top of the standings and still has a chance for an ADDITIONAL 5 bonus points if the Bengals do in fact win the Super Bowl since he would then have correctly predicted it. Todd has the ball in his hands to win it all with a double digit lead over everyone.
Seeds 3-9 are only separated by 8 points and we are all casually playing now as we would need a miracle to win it all. That list includes the third turd Gyro LC , Leper Messiah (who is tied with Todd with a 9-3 pickem record!), Blindy (Jets beat Cincy this year and Rams last year, OHMAHGERD~!), Foos (who should've went with his gut!), and the NWO myself and mikec who witnessed heartbreak last week.
pduh had the biggest fall from grace last week as he had BOTH of his Super Bowl picks lose. Mushed his way to 0 points and a drop to the 10th seed. He holds the pickem tiebreaker over the man he claimed would jynx his 49ers in CM Punk'd too so it's cute they get to share the same point total.
Baker and RT round out the 'way to give it effort' standings and a big SHAME, SHAME, SHAME for 🤯 and UT for not making picks last week!
Anyways; there is only one more chance to make points and to make this a bit more exciting, here are the ways you can make points this week.
13 points:
Correctly predict the winner of the Super Bowl.
17 points:
Correctly predict the final score of the Super Bowl with the correct points on each team.
2 points EACH:
1: Heads or Tails
2: MVP of the Super Bowl
3: Which player will score the games first TD?
4: Which player will have the most RECEIVING yards?
5: Will there be a DEFENSIVE or SPECIAL TEAMS TD?
That gives everyone an opportunity to make 40 points this weekend. Obviously, a massive swing could come if you correctly nail the Final Score which adds to theme of the 'Scorigami' fun we've had this season.
