With the National Title game out of the way, we now get to arguably one of the best parts of the NFL Offseason, the NFL Draft and prep leading to it! We have Senior Bowl(Jets and Lions coaching staff get the honors of that) coming up in Feburary, the shrine bowl not too far away from that, the ever important NFL Combine quickly after that, Pro Days & interviews after and then with NFL Free Agency in March, this becomes the ultimate game of cat & mouse with prospects and general managers/war rooms. 

This draft is massively important for the Jets. Nevermind a GM that should be on the hot seat in Joe Douglas, the Jets not only are coaching half of the Senior Bowl which is a massive leg up for scouting but also have 9 picks, all in rounds 1-5 including 4 top 40 picks so while the Jets should not rely on the NFL Draft to address the team's overall lack of talent, they need to have some big hits. 

Some of the storylines thus far of this draft have to be:

1) Who goes #1: Does chalk prevail and the overall consensus #1 pick in Oregon DE Kayvon Thibodeaux stay and join Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville? Or does Michigan DE Aidan Hutchinson's meteoric 2021 rise get him the top spot? Do the Jaguars go OT with either Alabama OT Evan Neal or NC State OT Ikem Ekwonu to protect Trevor Lawrence after Greg Robinson did a mediocre job? Possibilities are endless and unlike last year's consensus of Trevor Lawrence going #1 that was set in stone for years, this one could go so many ways.

2) QB1: Who is QB1 in this draft? Last year had 5 signal callers go amongst the top half of the 1st round in Lawrence(JAX), Wilson(NYJ), Lance(SF), Fields(CHI) and Jones(NE). Two of the 5 required trade ups, so the census is if you want your guy you best trade up future draft picks to get him. The intrigue of this draft is that there isn't a true standout QB and not one really worthy of a top 5 selection thus far. Kenny Pickett of PIT had a insane 2021 season, Matt Corral of OLE MISS despite leaving his bowl game with an injury is considered the ultimate gunslinger of the class. Malik Willis of Little LIBERTY is this year's Trey Lance of small school, big time athlete with the biggest upside of the group. Carson Strong of NEVADA is looking to be the 1st QB to make a start in the NFL since Colin Kaepernick despite worries about his legs, particularly mobility & health of them despite the solid accuracy numbers. Sam Howell of UNC was considered the consensus QB1 going into the year but the loss of his RB duo of J Williams & M Carter may have put the ball in his backyard a little too much and he could not get the Tar Heels to enough wins and may have dashed his hopes of being the top signal caller chosen. 

Nobody knows what the order is but there's certainly plenty of teams in need a QB now or at the very least down the road. Washington, Atlanta, Denver, NY Giants, Pittsburgh, maybe Cleveland, Detroit, Carolina, a lot of hungry suitors on the table. Really curious who goes where in this draft.

3) Two(Or Even Three's) Plenty: As with every draft, you've got some lucky teams who have multiple draft picks in their arsenal. Detroit owns two 1sts including the 2nd overall pick, the Jets own the 4th and 10th picks, the Giants own the 5th and 7th draft selections, the Eagles have 3 1st rounders. Do you start trading up and get brave with the surplus of draft capitol? Who do you choose with the 1st pick vs say your later pick? How many rookies do you want on a roster if your looking to compete? Do these picks go to more proven commodities in the NFL? Free agency and trading will change the order of this draft as it always does, curious who does what! 


Figure we can use a thread with so many teams eliminated and all the college games out of the way. A lot about to happen and go down, hoping OMICRON doesn't damper the NFL combine etc like COVID ruined the 2020 NFL Draft. 

I think the most fascinating team to watch during this draft (and off-season) is the Giants.

Whoever the Giants choose to be the new GM of this franchise is being given a gift right here that he MUST nail if he wants this organization to be successful for the next decade. I don't think Daniel Jones is the answer, but one more year of him if you fill other voids with the 5 and 7 pick would be okay. You'd have to hope for the best and just tolerate it. They need to keep up with the rebuilding of the Eagles and try and catch up to the Cowboys. Shit; they need to catch up to Washington too if you look at this season. Still, the Giants have Saquon Barkley and hopefully he can go back to being a monster next season. Same goes for Kenny Golladay. Kadarius Toney might be a beast in the making, too. They will have a new HC this year also so this is definitely an ALL EYES ON THEM off-season, in my opinion.

Get this off-season right and save the fan base for the next decade at least.

Their top 3 needs going to the draft have to be EDGE(Need a legit difference maker to go after the QB), OT(Maybe if they take one high they push Andrew Thomas to RT, he was a Gettleman pick) and LB. They need a lot of help on the defensive side, the playmakers are there and they can use 1-2 lineman for sure and a new TE with Engram a FA to be but I think they go defense heavy in this draft. LBs like Nakobi Dean and EDGE like George Karlaftis could be names of interest for Big Blue. 

Given the Jets are coaching one of the two teams at the ever important Senior Bowl this week, man Liberty QB Malik Willis is the absolute darling of the whole thing. This is with the likes of Sam Howell, Heisman finalist Kenny Pickett and Carson Strong in the game too. His numbers and throws have had GMs and coaches salivating. Detroit is coaching him up and have the 2nd overall pick, it's him at 2 or never for Holmes and Campbell pretty much.

A lot still to go on such as the actual game, the Combine and pro days but Malik Willis is getting rave reviews and is getting the QB1 tag at the moment. This is good news for the Jets given Detroit has mocked to get one of the two highly touted pass rushers, means the Jags and Texans stand in the way but Jacksonville may end up fielding calls for Willis if the hype is truly ballooned up or they may be forced to take an OT to protect Lawrence.

All of the draft pundits from Todd McShady to Daniel Jeremiah have been floored with Willis this senior bowl. Coaches like Mike Tomlin of PIT who has been gushing with his parents, though no shot Willis may fall to them.


Couple of players who the Jets are probably gushing over are the TEs like Trey McBride of Colorado St and TE Jeremy Tucker of Ohio St. If Joe Douglas does not get Zach Wilson a worthwhile TE this offseason, he should pack his bags and just leave. 5 picks in the 1st 3 rounds, lets fucking go already.


@admin Malik Willis looks like the Josh Allen type of kid Daboll and Schoen would cream over, just a matter of can he get to them at 5 or does someone jump over them if Detroit passes. 

Lot of fast 40s being recorded at the combine today. Baylor WR Tyquan Thornton ran 4.28, while Cincinatti QB Desmond Ridder ran 4.52 which is faster than Mariota, Mahomes & Wilson. I've seen Ridder play quite a bit (more than most prospects) and I really like him, hope for his sake he lands in a good spot like Denver or Pittsburgh.

For offensive tackles, they should have them run the 40 backwards. That would be a lot more useful in evaluating them. I want to see FOOTWORK when I evaluate offensive tackles.

It means little football wise but holy shit. That’s an athlete.

What his knock was in UGA was the lack of snaps. Not sure if that is because as you said he's a better run stuffer vs a passer, the fact that Georgia has deep depth on defense(I mean like 4-5 guys were pumping out sub 4.8 times, EDGE Trevon Walker may have aced the combine today, so much he might be a top 10 lock! Daniel Jeremiah is glowing about him, has him over Thibodeaux who left after the 40 time and weights with the other stuff going to his Oregon pro day) or in-game conditioning. I think his floor are the Chargers, he may go as high as 9 to Denver if no QB is in sight for them and they can't get Rodgers. He would be a huge solution for their run D woes. 

Combine has been good, can't wait to see the CBs(Gardner/Stingley/McDuffie/Booth/Gordon) and S(Hamilton/Brisker/Pitre) to wrap it up, Jets will be in the draft for 1 if not 2 guys out of this bunch IMO. I think too much is made on Keyvon Thibodeaux missing the rest of the combine, he's probably just following what his camp wants. Zach Wilson nor Trevor Lawrence did much if anything at all excluding pro days and that turned out well for both. 

Couple of guys hit below 4.3 and this isn't including the usually fast CB group that come into the combine. The guy who may tear it up is CB Tariq Woolen from Texas San Antonio University. Was considered the fastest guy in the senior bowl for either side, he may really shake the 40 time up. Given how little Derek Stingley Jr played, he really needs a great draft process class to shake off the "Injury/lack of reps" woes he has going against him. 

Apparently Kyle Hamilton ran a 4.7 40 at the ND pro day (after recording 4.59 at the combine), I wonder if that will affect his likelihood of being a top 5 or even 10 pick. He's taller than most of the elite safeties in the league, but that time makes him significantly slower. He has similar measurements to a guy like Kam Chancellor.

I don't even know why he would run again to be honest. It will probably affect his draft stock because teams are stupid , I would love for him to drop to the Packers - I'd take him in an instant. Watching him play it's clear he's not a step slow compared to everyone else.

I don’t think it’ll affect it that much. Teams will be looking at that ridiculous Ed Reed play and it’ll allay any concerns about speed.

Hamilton's under/over has now dropped to 10.5 which feels a lot more reasonable for a safety. Even that feels a little bit rich to me considering a guy like Derwin James fell to 17. I think there's some money to be made on the overs for most of the WRs considering how muddled the rankings seem to be at that position.

I've been digging in a little bit on the differences between the OTs and I'm still leaning towards Ekwonu over Neal for the Giants based on his superior run blocking. Some people really like Charles Cross but I'd be a little bit wary of him coming from an air raid offence.

Jets are (sadly) in on Ekwonu. Not because he is a bad prospect but I don't want to sell on Mehki Becton so damn soon because he took a season ender in Week 1 last year. His weight needs to be controlled but Joe Douglas giving up on Becton, his 1st draft pick is a terrible indictment on that entire 2020 NFL Draft class. George Fant also proved his worth big time and deserves one of the two spots.

Sounds like if the 1-2-3 is Hutchinson-T. Walker-Thibodeaux that NYJ takes Ekwonu and one of the current tackles gets traded.

In order of least wanted to most wanted, I don't like any one of these options at 4. Jets can mess up pick 4 really, really bad. I am very nervous over who this team takes. Indifferent if NYJ goes WR at 4, but that's because I don't think anyone is worth it. If they view Garrett Wilson as some franchise WR who they know won't get past Atlanta at 8, than so be it I guess but I think you go EDGE at 4 or if the top 3 EDGE guys go, Sauce Gardner. 

For 10, get one of the two elite CBs or whatever WR you want, particularly G. Wilson/Drake Lonson/Jamison Williams. Pick 10 I am less crazy about.

At first I wanted Chiefs to trade the two picks to move up a good ways and grab an Olave or Williams. Then I wanted the Chiefs to take two defensive players with their picks unless one of the top 4 receivers are falling. Now I’m hoping they trade 30 to someone wanting to get a 5th year option QB for two day 2 picks to get more shots at building something.

I think they’re going D Line in the first round no matter what, either edge or DT. The big needs are there, DB, WR, and TE depth in the second/third round.

I’ve been working on my list of draft crushes. Will post soon. I’m always back and forth as to what I want the Packers to do because my heart says receicers but my brain sees there is a ton of fun talent on defense in the back end of the 1st.

My draft crushes for the Packers 

1. Chris Olave - Been my favorite receiver in the draft since the beginning. Not a perfect prospect but I love the way he runs routes and seems like the kind of guy most likely to replace a little of what Tae did. Great speed and seperation as well - just would like to see him add 5-10 pounds of muscle if possible. 

2. George Pickens - He's grown and grown on me the most I research and study. Love his size/speed/athletic ability , his hands and ability to go up and get the ball. I would love a 1-2 punch of Olave and Pickens in the first round. 

3. Daxton Hill - Would be more and more okay with him with the 2nd pick of the first round provided we get a receiver first. I love his versatility and think he could be an early game changer for this defense. 

4. Troy Andersen - This guy is fucking awesome. A former quarterback and running back at Montana State who now plays linebacker - but he is one of the best athletes in this draft and posted the highest RAS score of any linebacker ever. Just a freak who also happens to be incredibly smart and instinctive. At the worst he's an all pro special teamer but his upside is through the roof. I would love the Packers to get him in the 3rd round if he fell. 

5. Bernard Raimann - More of a last resort for the Packers not. My favorite tackle after Ikem and Neal. Raimman is going to be a stuff. 

6. Nic Bonitto - Pure pass rush specialist that would be a great fit for the Packers to spell Smith or Gary. Probably never a 3 down player but he would be an awesome specialized player. 

7. Travis Jones - My favorite DT prospect in the draft. Think he has a lot of Chris Jones in him and think and and Clark would create a mammoth and potentially great line duo.

8. Skyy Moore - I don't think the Packers actually draft him but if he were to fall into the second round - I would be happy to have him. 

9. Velus Jones Jr - Older prospect and may never be a great receiver but if we could get 8 years of elite return ability out of him and some special plays I'd be happy in the 4th round or so. 

10. Tyquan Thorton - Just based on pure speed and speculation. 

11. Logan Bruss - Reminds me a bit of Newman. Think he could come in and compete at tackle or guard after being a day three pick.

Thats just for the Packers. I do like quite a few guys at the top of the draft like Sauce , Hutchinson , Hamilton and Linderbaum. Maybe I'll do a bunch more later.

I don’t know who has the NFL Network on here but their series Caught In thr Draft about past drafts has been great.

Did my own mock: 

1. Jacksonville Jaguars - Aidan Hutchinson , Edge , Michigan - I really hope that Balke doesn't screw this up because of his history with Harbaugh,

if he passes on Hutchinson than I would have him thrown out of the building by Friday morning. There is a lot of smoke here about Walker being the

pick but when the smoke clears I can't see them passing on one of the safest building blocks in this draft.

2. Detroit Lions - Sauce Gardner , CB , Cincinnati - The Lions are in a tough spot here as this isn't the draft for them to be picking this high. I think

Sauce is in serious play for them not only based on need but mentality. Maybe the only prospect in the draft cleaner than Hutchinson and someone

who is a true Campbell guy.

3. Houston Texans - Ikem Ekwonu , OT , NC State - I think the Texans could also be looking at Gardner here or possibly a pass rusher but as it falls ,

taking the best tackle prospect in the draft isn't a terrible fallback plan. Ekonwu would come in and be an immediate starter on the offensive line and

allow Houston to even move on from Tunsil sooner rather than later.

4. New York Jets - Kayvon Thibodeaux , Edge , Oregon - The Jets and Saleh need another pass rusher in the front seven. Thibodeaux at one point was

considered the best player in this draft and him falling here could end up being a steal - especially landing with a staff who is going to be able to get the

most out of him.

5. New York Giants - Evan Neal , OT , Alabama - This is a tough pick for me , I think the Giants would prefer if Ekwonu fell to them as they are always

in desperate need of offensive linemen. Neal is a great consolation prize though and just as capable of playing in 4/5 spots on the offensive line and bringing an immediate upgrade.

6. Carolina Panthers - Charles Cross , OT , Miss. St. - Another one of the tougher picks to figure out. I honestly think Carolina tries desperately to trade

down with anyone who will listen because they are in deserate need of more picks. I see quarterbacks mocked to them a lot too but I just don't see why

a regime barely holding on to their jobs would take a rookie QB and hope to compete. They need to build the pieces on this team - Cross might just be

the best pure pass blocker in this class and would start from Day 1.

7. New York Giants - Derek Stingley Jr. , CB , LSU - Rumors about Bradberry being on the block have been around since the end of the season and I think

the Giants want to add here regardless. Stingley is another guy who was once consdiered to be the best prospect in this draft and potential Top 3 pick. His stock has went up and down since then and now is back on the upswing into the Top 10 where the Giants are happy to take a chance on the giant ceiling he provides.

8. Atlanta Falcons - Travon Walker , DE , Georgia - The Falcons have a ton of needs on both sides of the ball , a receiver would be an easy pick here as well but I think they are going to try to hit a home run here and add to that anemic pass rush. Walker is a boom or bust guy but keeping him in Georgia and allowing him to grow with the Falcons would be a fun scenario. If one of the top three offensive linemen fall though I think they take one.

9. Seattle Seahawks - Trevor Penning , OT , Northern Iowa - I think Penning is one of the most overrated prospects in the draft but that's why he's perfect for Seattle who like to draft prospects entirely too high at positions of huge need. He is huge and has a nasty streak but needs a ton of coaching and discipline to ever live up to his true potential.

10. New York Jets - Jameson Williams , WR , Alabama - A lot of smoke about Williams becoming a Top 10 pick and potentially the first recevier off the board. When healthy I think he's easily the best prospect in this draft and would provide Wilson an elite deep threat and definitely would open up a lot of thing for this entire offense.

11. Washington Commanders - Kyle Hamilton , S , Notre Dame - Washington is another team in kind of a tough spot consdiering so many of their needs just aren't going to be taken here or have been taken already. So going with the BPA is always a smart move and Hamilton is the type of player than can change an entire defense and the type of person who can change an entire culture - which Washington desperately needs.

12. Minnesota Vikings - Jermaine Johnson , Edge , Florida State - Even with Hunter and the signing of Smith , the Vikings still need to look at edge. Both of those guys can be elite when healthy but they also both have a problem staying healthy. Johnson is one of the most intruguing guys in the draft for me but this seems like the perfect spot for him.

13. Houston Texans - Jordan Davis , DT , Georgia - The Texans had an abysmal run defense last year and an elite run defender is what Davis should be at his floor. He is a once in a lifetime athlete though with the potential to be so much more and I think grabbing another people mover on the other side of the ball would be huge for Houston who need help at literally every position.

14. Baltimore Ravens - Trent McDuffie , CB , Washington - The Ravens secondary was absoltely destroyed last year by injuries and they already had question there. McDuffie seems like a Raven to me and would be able to come in and compete from day one.

15. Philadelphia Eagles - Drake London , WR , USC - The Eagles take a chance on another wide receiver but this time a giant one with a giant catch radius and some of the best ball skills in the draft to help the erratic Jalen Hurts. They would be thrilled to see him fall here and give their receiver corps a different element.

16. New Orleans Saints - Garrett Wilson , WR , Ohio State - The Saints are thrilled to get what a lot of experts think is the best receiver in the draft. They fill a huge need opposte *hopefully* Michael Thomas with a player that complements him perfectly.

17. Los Angeles Chargers - Tyler Smith , OT , Tulsa - A huge riser later in the process and this could easily be Raimann as well. The Charagers need to come into this draft looking to fill two needs at receiver and tackle. I think with the depth of the receiver class they should definitlely focus at keeping their young star quarterback upright.

18. Philadelphia Eagles - Devin Lloyd , LB , Utah - This is probably never going to happen because the Eagles always seem to need linebackers and skip on them in the first round but Lloyd easily provides the most value here at a huge need position and upgrades their defense with both athleticism and leadership.

19. New Orleans Saints - Bernard Raimann , OT , Central Michigan - I think Smith is in play here as well as a quarterback but I don't want to piss Show off so I'll take the next tackle to replace Armstead. I like Raimann a lot and think with the right coaching he can be a 12 year starter at left tackle.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers - Malik Willis , QB , Liberty - I also think this could be Ridder but the Steelers seem enamored with Willis and in this scenario their patience pays off and they get him. I could also see a trade up happening as well come draft day to secure him. Not a big fan but sitting behind Trubisky for a year would certainly help.

21. New England Patriots - Nakobe Dean , LB , Georgia - Dean just seems like the perfect Patriot linebacker to me. One of the smartest and most instincual players in the draft and someone Belichek would love to have come in and run his defense for the next ten years.

22. Green Bay Packers - Chris Olave , WR , Ohio State - This would be a dream scenario for me as Olave is one of my favorite players in the draft. I could see the Packers passing on him because he doesn't exactly fit their prototype for receivers but he does provide the elite route running and seperation this team needs.

23. Arizona Cardinals - Treylon Burks , WR , Arkansas - They lost the best receiver in the league in Kirk and need to make sure those weapons stay stockpiled for Kyler. Burks is a perfect fit for what Kingsbury wants to do on offense and could even replace a ton of the receiving production they relied on Edmonds for out of the backfield.

24. Dallas Cowboys - Devonte Wyatt , DT , Georiga - One of my least favorite prospects in the draft and hate when people mock him to the Packers but I think he's a much better fit with the Cowboys who could use more reinforcements up front and aren't afraid of red flags.

25. Buffalo Bills - Breece Hall , RB , Iowa State - You don't take running backs in the first round unless you feel you are an already elite team who is right on the door step on winning it all. That's the Bills and Hall provides them the type of every down back they haven't had in forever and take a ton of pressure and wear off from Allen.

26. Tennessee Titans - Desmond Ridder , QB , Cincinnati - My favorite quarterback in the class and the perfect guy to sit behind Tannehill for a year and take over next year. The Titans can get out of Tannehills contract after this year and need an upgrade at the position to truly take them over the hump.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Zion Johnson , OG , Boston College - The Bucs lost a guard and replace him , it's pretty simple math. Johnson fits the more physical blocking style of the Bucs so that gives him the slight nod over Green here.

28. Green Bay Packers - Kenyon Green , OG , Texas A&M - I have doubts whether the Packers would draft a linemen this early but Green might be an exception. He's like a clone of Jenkins and could come in and help solidify the Packers line at tackle or guard.

29. Kanasas City Chiefs - George Karlaftis , Edge , Purdue - The Chiefs get lucky here with Karlaftis falling. I didn't like passing on him with the last pick but it made sense. Karlaftis may never be an elite double digit sack guy but he is a 10 year productive starter and all around player.

30. Kansas City Chiefs - Jahan Dotson , WR , Penn State - They traded Hill and while Dotson doesn't come close to replacing everything Hill did he is a really good down the field threat with elite ball skills. I think he would be a great pairing with Mahomes.

31. Cincinnati Bengals - Kaiir Elam , CB , Florida - I did this in the group mock and liked it so much I decided to go back to it here. Elam just fits with Cincy in both play style and need so why wouldn't they take a shot on him here?

32. Detroit Lions - Kenny Pickett , QB , Pittsburgh - The Lions get lucky and get some peoples #1 quarterback on the board. I doubt he actually falls here and if he does I could see teams trying to get to this spot and grab him. As it stands though I think Pickett would be a great fit with the Lions - especially playing indoors.

ROUND 2

33. Jacksonville Jaguars - Tyler Linderbaum , C , Iowa - Another repeat from the earlier mock but it just makes too much sense. If Hutchinson is the culture changer on defense than Linderbaum could be that on offense for them.

34. Detroit Lions - Lewis Cine , S , Georgia - Would pair nicely with Sauce to create a dynamic young duo in the secondary.

35. New York Jets - Daxton Hill , DB , Michigan - The perfect type of player for a Saleh defense. Inside/outside versatility with incredible athleticism and length. One of my favorite players.

36. New York Giants - Boye Mafe , Edge , Minnesota - A powerful young rusher with a boatload of potential moviing forward.

37. Houston Texans - Kingsley Enagbare , Edge , South Carolina - A projection pass rusher who playing next to Davis could really take his game to the next level.

38. New York Jets - Quay Walker , LB , Georgia - Incredibly athletic linebacker who some have rated higher than Dean. Walker would try and fill the Fred Warner role in this defense.

39. Chicago Bears - Skyy Moore , WR , Western Michigan - A great complement from the slot for Mooney on the outside. One of the more NFL ready receivers in the draft.

40. Seattle Seahawks - Matt Corral , QB , Mississippi - My second favorite quarterback in the draft and someone who can take over for Drew Lock in Week 3.

41. Seattle Seahawks - Andrew Booth Jr. , CB , Clemson - Smart player who Pete Carroll would love. May never be elite but will be a start for years.

42. Indianapolis Colts - Logan Hall , DL , Houston - A versatile inside/outside defender that would fit in perfect in Indy.

43. Atlanta Falcons - Christain Watson , WR , North Dakota State - The Falcons grab their future #1 receiver with huge upside in the second.

44. Cleveland Browns - George Pickens , WR , Georgia - They need more playmakers around Watson and Pickens would be in play for me at #28.

45. Baltimore Ravens - Travis Jones , DT , Conneticut - A giant tackle who feels like he belonds with the Ravens.

46. Minnesota Vikings - Kyler Gordon , CB , Washington - They passed on McDuffie in the first but get his running mate in the second.

47. Washington Commanders - Sam Howell , QB , North Carolina - Carson Wentz isn't the long term answer. Howell has the upside and will benefit from sitting for a year.

48. Chicago Bears - Jalen Pitre , DB , Baylor - A perfect player for what you think of when you say Bears defensive backs.

49. New Orleans Saints - David Ojabo , Edge , Michigan - A huge injury drops him down the board but the Saints take the swing at the huge upside edge rusher.

50. Kansas City Chiefs - Roger McCreary , CB , Auburn - Might ultimately be a slot guy but the Chiefs could use that in absense of Mathieu.

51. Jaquan Brisker - S , Penn State - The Eagles need help all over their defense. Brisker should be a plug and play starter at safety.

52. Pittsburgh Steelers , Luke Goedeke , OT , Central Michigan - Not quite the upside of his Central Michigan counterpart but still an upgrade in Pitt.

53. Green Bay Packers - Alec Pierce , WR , Cincinnati - Not as big of fan of him as others but he's such a Packers pick with his size and speed combo.

54. New England Patriots - John Metchie , WR , Alabama - A perfect Patriot with his acumen for the position and former connection with Jones.

55. Arizona Cardinals - Cole Strange , G , Chattanooga - Fixing the offensive line in front of their tiny quarterback.

56. Dallas Cowboys - Dylan Parham , OL , Memphis - A versatile linemen who can play tackle or guard for the Cowboys.

57. Buffalo Bills - Tariq Woolen - May be a bit of a reach for a need but Woolen has giant upside and is such a unique talent.

58. Atlanta Falcons - Kellen Diesch , OL , Arizona State - The Falcons need to start building up front as well.

59. Green Bay Packers - Nic Bonnito , Edge , Oklahoma - May only be a pass rusher but he could be great at it and a perfect 3rd behind Smith and Gary.

60. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Arnold Ebiketie , Edge , Penn State - The best player available for one of the deepest rosters in the league still.

61. San Francisco 49ers - Dohnovan West , C , Arizona State - A great fit for the Shanahan running scheme and instant starter.

62. Kansas City Chiefs - Kenneth Walker III , RB , Michigan State - The Chiefs have a ton of picks so they can afford to take a running back to try upgrade CEH.

63. Cincinnati Bengals - Trey McBride , TE , Colorado State - A plug and play replacement for Uzomah.

64. Denver Broncos - Leo Chenal , LB , Wisconsin - A huge downhill backer who will make a splash on at least two downs in the NFL.

65. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jalen Tolbert , WR , South Alabama - A traits guy to come and in be an immediate target for a terrible receiving corps.

Really weird and tough draft to try and figure out. I think the Top 10 could go so many ways. Not the perfect Packers mock for two rounds for me (that would be Olave and Hill with trading up to get Pickens in the 2nd) 

Seems like there's been a bit of a shift in the top 5 - Travon Walker is now the favourite to go #1 overall and there's a rumour that Evan Neal has been "medically failed" by some teams which might see him slide down the board.

Unfortunately I've been booked in for some training at work on Friday so I'm not going to be able to watch live with you guys. 😔 Of all the days!

I never know what to believe the week of. I wasn't gutsy enough to put Walker at #1 yet , it would just be so stupid and given the fact that some of the rumors are that it's because of Balke hating Harbaugh and it's even worse. You don't build teams that way. :lol:

I would be shocked to get 4/65 of these right. It's that kind of year and even GM's are quoted as saying it's one of the toughest years to predict ever. And they expect a ton of trades from like 13 - 25.

Sucks you won't be around. I'm sure I'll spam the hell out of everything with Blindy.

Baalke doesn't really deserve the benefit of the doubt but if there was one position I'd trust his scouting on it would be defensive line. He drafted Aldon Smith, Arik Armstead & DeForest Buckner for San Francisco and that is a very respectable hit rate in the first round.

I agree with Ridder going in the first round, he has a lot of traits that I think teams would be seduced by. I think I would definitely take over 2.5 quarterbacks going in the first round.

He also passed on Watt to take Smith in that draft. I’m not saying that’s everything but I was more speaking to the point that there are reports out there talking about his relationship with Harbaugh coming into play.

I hope this is smoke but Jets are favoring 23 year old Jermaine Johnson as an EDGE over Thibedeaux at 4. At 4. AT FOUR!

I took this guy at 14 with Baltimore, which should be his range. 4 is a reach of epic proportions. If that's truly the pick, I would fire Joe Douglas on the spot.
