Meltzer actually has a degree in journalism and had other gigs before he turned the Observer into a lucrative business. The issue with Pro Wrestling is how do you report on a business that has no integrity? A business that's built on deception where only one party maybe willing to give their version while another remains tight lipped? There's certainly criticisms to be made of Dave, but for over 40 years he's easily been the best at what he does.

I can't really speak for the others and their background, but Dave certainly paved the way and has the best perspective of the business. I wish he did more Q&A shows and explained more jokes on BTE.

What is weirder is Miro is also in this not being used place. FTR I can get being CM Punk guys, but Miro is just strange.

FTR try to usually be professional but almost knew they would leave.

Pretty sure they are coming back very soon to face the Acclaimed. That is the biggest tag match they have right now and likely to headline the next PPV.

They probably had plans for The Sons of The Hitman to be a thing once Punk regained the world title but since that got fucked they scrapped their plans and said we’ll call you when we think of something.

Not like they have nothing else to do. They have 3 different companies’ tag titles ffs.

Miro was shooting a TV show that premiered last night and all signs point to him coming back soon. Hopefully he drags Wardlow back into the singles spotlight. I need that match.

FTR came in to AEW as outsiders since they did Cornette's podcast. They were barely featured, of the teams who held the tag titles held it the least amount of time, missed out on AEW Fight Forever royalty check, got insanely over without AEW's help, and now most of their heat is slowly dying down to lack of use. Oh the person with some pull that they actually got along with may be gone soon.

Miro on the other hand is usually booked very well when they do use him.

FTR earned Tony's respect though with the RoH match against the Brisceos. They just got lost in the mix with the Acclaimed taking the tag belts.

AEW has officially signed Bandido to a contract.

FTR should be the next babyface team to win the titles.

Meltzer is reporting that Konosuke Takeshita will be back in AEW in a few weeks.

Jeff's return was denied it seems. Tony gonna make him stay sober at least until his legal issues are all finalized and out of court before allowing him back on TV.

According to Fightful Bandido agreed with terms with AEW, but the Observer reported that he's yet to sign a contract and the WWE has expressed their interest.

I’ve been seeing some stuff around the net today that says he may not have. That WWE also reached out to him to offer him a deal. I don’t remember the source or if they were reputable though.

He said WWE tried to sign him before he went to RoH.  He does not seem interested to work for WWE since they do not have a great track record with luchadors.  He turned down Tony too before signing to RoH.  

Jon Moxley has signed a 5 year extension with AEW and will also have an expanded role in mentoring and coaching.

Mox about to bust some skulls if these kids keep getting out of line. Good for him.

Good for Moxley though, glad he's found a better schedule for him to commit to his family. Also can still do his deathmatch fetish matches and have softcore in ring porn with Effy whenever. Get that bag, whenever & wherever you can.

Man the Sayara to AEW move was like drama filled. Vince's team refused to look at her x-rays or let her be evaluated to return to the ring and offered to make her GM but nothing more.  However, she would not have freedom to do things like Twitch or use her name to promote her makeup lines, so she was not very happy with the offer.  Once the contract lapsed Mox and Jericho got in touch and hard sold her.  Meanwhile, Vince was replaced with HHH who just realized they released her and he was freaking out that she was actually released.  He tried to resign her but it was too late, she was already hooked on trying AEW.  Door is open for her in WWE as long as HHH is in charge it seems though.  

Not sure if a one off but Stu may be back.

They'll be a good boost to the tag team division

I guess it's cool seeing The Kingdom in AEW, not sure how much they actually boost the tag team division, considering how stacked it is though.
