I partied way too fucking hard for my old ass last night but live bet the shit out of the Rams (which I do not condone with an altered mental) and am a happy camper this morning.
Brady finally retired and a bunch of guys who had him in his way finally got a ring. It’s nice to see.
As for the game; boring. Sloppy. The injury to OBJ totally killed the mood. Forgettable SB but super happy for Kupp doing something only Jerry Rice has ever done.

I wanted to like the halftime show more than I did. I don't know if it's the limitation of the format, but it I thought it was just meh. Those ladies in the black and white cheerleader dresses were on it. I agree. I wanted to say I was loving it but I wasn’t.

I do think it’s hilarious that everyone is eating apple sauce today abusing Eli. He deserved it. Bit off more then he can chew. Made a lot of enemies and then gave up the GW TD. It couldn’t have happened to anyone better from anyone better. Ravens came for him. Chiefs came for him. Saints came for him. It’s funny to see. Also happy for you UT because the Packers are ALL IN on keeping Rodgers. As long as the Packers are good, you’ll remain active and keep these threads fun. One last thing. No matter what anyone says; those 2 teams we watched last night were not the best teams and the game showed it. Chiefs/Bills was totally the Super Bowl.

Already the best halftime show in years.  To be fair, I said "in years". Glad we agree on the gold purple standard for halftime performances though. It was a little underwhelming when all was said and done. Needed a few more throwback songs and 50 Cent felt way out of place. Still better than The Weekend though.

Right I get 50 had a pretty short career musically compared to most in that circle but people forget the fact he was the biggest rapper on the planet for a run and In Da Club is one of the defining rap songs of that era for better or worse. Would never happen in a million years but I would have loved to see he and Em do Patiently Waiting.

My wife and I agreed that the halftime show was underwhelming, but we also got ourselves so hyped up that we expected a mind-blowing experience. Probably mostly our fault. Still, would have liked more Eminem. I think that's my only complaint. They saved him for last, gave him a dope entrance, then he sang 45 seconds of Lose Yourself and the show was over. Fiddy's surprise entrance was amazing though. Him suddenly dropping from the ceiling was so fucking cool. I really liked that. Also liked Kendrick's part. That guy can do no wrong.

I'm sure everyone's streaming numbers are off the charts right now, I know it's all I've been listening to for the last 24 hours. I barely listen to rap or hip hop but on my 2.5 hour drive today I listened to 2001, The Eminem Show and some of Damn. So yeah, definitely worth the money.
