They are afraid to in fear they burn bridges with them or other promotions who are in cohoots with AEW. Look at Eric Bischoff, he mentions AEW needs to stop taking potshots at WWE with the precious TV time that they have and Khan goes nuclear and criticizes Bischoff's 90's run with WCW. 

He also banned Tino Sabbatelli from AEW for spilling the beans about the same guy Tony Khan dislikes, Eric Bischoff. Why even care enough if you detest Bischoff? 

The wrestlers he lends he makes sure to let people know how big of a deal it is, he is all about gratification and acknowledgement from the fans. He isn't doing this out of the kindness of his heart, he does this to increase his fan popularity. Football fans dressed up as clowns in the final home regular season game to try and get the GM out and to prove a point to both Tony and his dad and they ended up keeping the same GM(Baalke) and hire a coach that the fanbase didn't initially want. 

Disagree completely.  IMO he he is going it simply because he is a mark.  This is bush league shit really and what happens whenever a fan starts a fed.  They start to think they will be better than the guys they hate and use the fans support to fuel their egos.  See this all the time in indy feds.  


Sabbatelli was fired for leaking results to the dirt sheets.   But does not matter as Tony likely thinks he is smarter than Bischoff and Russo despite the fact they wrote shows in a much higher stakes format leading to the hottest period of wrestling.

Shida says being a joshi isn't the advantage that it used to be, which -- I dunno how AEW was sold to her but I'd always kind of figured that was how it was going to end up. IMO when the promotion started there was a lack of experienced women (WWE having signed everyone and their sister) so they leaned on their Japanese connections, brought some talent in as player-coaches but the plan was always to eventually have their own homegrown peeps take over.

The other part of her comment said she had no assistance with finding housing and whatnot in a foreign country, which is concerning but hey, AEW is brand new and presumably their talent relations peeps like Christopher Daniels just haven't had to think of things like that before. American-born wrestlers know how to find their own apartments, (I'll assume) have drivers' licenses to get to work from wherever they find housing, and all those little things about daily life we don't even think about anymore. All AEW can do is say our bad, it didn't occur to us that we should help you get situated in an unfamiliar place and we'll be better going forward with new signees.

I think with Omega taking a absence due to injury that Brandi Rhodes came on in and is making the women's division along with Khan more American-focused. Cannot wait for when Omega comes back to have that tug of war of female control happen though. The fact Little Bran Bran is getting a 1 on 1 with Paige VanZant and may actually get offense in there says it all. "WHO DA HELL TOLD YOU IT WAS O-PEN MIC NIGHT BITCH!"

Does it matter in this case? VanZant is a non factor. I don't remember her last outing.
