So Tony Khan plans on running more shows and he'll book ROH on top of his AEW duties.

At the very least, I think you may as well run a handful of shows. You should be able to generate some interest and while ultimately I can't see it being a long term draw I think you could recoup some of that cost and it'd be a pretty effective way to introduce talent into AEW by making them stars in ROH first.

Word was sent to RoH that everyone should start looking for new jobs and requesting transfers from Sinclair Media and Tony is not expected to retain any of the management. Supercard of Honor will be their last show, and after it will transfer to Khan. HonorClub's fate will be decided in the next few weeks.

Current line up is:

Jonathan Gresham vs. Bandido for the undisputed title.
The Briscoe Brothers (c) vs. FTR
Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs. Willow Nightingale
Sw3rve The Realest vs. Alex Zayne

Ninja Mack and Joe Hendry will also be in action. If Tony has a say, Willow, FTR and Greshaw all win then Willow and Gresham drop at the next show. Or Gresham signs. Who knows. Hoping if he is not signing they use American Dragon to get the belt off him. It is a dream match.

Reports are this will be the Briscoes last show working RoH, if they even are still on it. Someone high up at WarnerMedia does not want AEW associated with them in any way due to their prior homophobic tweets. Sounds like one of the few demands the company has made to AEW.

Looking more and more like selling the video library to a streaming site is the reason Tony grabbed RoH. WarnerMedia, who they already deal with for TV, said HBO+ and Discovery+ will be merging to creating essentially a netflix rival in coming weeks. Waiting for the mega merger of AT&T and WarnerMedia to be complete. Very likely Tony is planning to use RoH to pad his AEW content, and get on the new network at launch.

Tony has confirmed that Supercard of Honor will go ahead as scheduled even though it runs up against Rampage. He also said ROH will have a weekly show but doesn’t know where it will be airing or streaming yet.

FTR vs Briscoes has to be happening that night, right?

Depends on the Warner execs. AEW cannot risk their TV deal.

If " making a homophobic slur " is enough to deny a contract, then maybe they need to release CM Punk for making homophobic slurs in front of a live crowd. And I bet it won't stop them trying to sign AJ Styles if they had the chance despite making homophobic slurs during an actual interview.

It does not matter the reason. They were told by Warner they cannot Briscoes on their networks.

And Jay is not in trouble for the tweet: "Damn there's a lot of fags out in New York today #WhatTheFuck".

He is in trouble for this:

"The Delaware Senate passed a bill yesterday that allows same sex couples to get married. If that makes you happy, then congratulations!!!!!!

That is a bit different than a simple slur.

Other stuff keeps coming up, like draping himself in the confederate flag, and the "lynch his blackass spot" that almost got them kicked off Sinclair. After that pretty sure they were talked to as their tone started to change. Their promos too. The guns started to disappear, a lot of the more acceptable racial slurs started to disappear, along with the heavy drinking and smoking too.

But there is one hard trend to all this. The worst stuff all occurs in like a two year period. When you listen to the apology they made, they said they were mislead to think that this shit was helping to defend their beliefs in Christ, and I believe it. The southern white evangelical churches are incredibly racist and homophobic. They both realize now that what they did was wrong and apologized for it. They realize they got wrapped up in the stuff that promoted hate and it was not ok.

I think they should be given a chance to work in AEW now, with agents guiding them. They never got a chance to really work with guys to help guide their gimmick as RoH just let them do whatever. Guys like Arn could can help make the gimmick safe for TV, while losing none of the Southern attitude they have.  But they def need serious health checkups before they should come in.  Make sure they are like ok.  RoH gave no shit about the workers health at all encouraging people to work through concussions.
