North Carolina has been my team my whole childhood and not only did I bet them to win ML, I also separately parlayed them with Kansas. Receipts for days.

I don’t think they beat Kansas, though but knowing they ended Coach Ks career is a championship for this team anyways. They were not supposed to make it this far. The injury to Bacot will prove to be too much, in my opinion. Even if he plays, he’s not going to be 100% and Kansas will take advantage.

National Championship tonight.

If the women’s game proved anything; it’s that the best team all year will win. That would be Kansas.

However; if you look at what these teams have done in this tournament; then you have to side with the Tar Heels. The level of competition they faced is far greater then what Kansas has had to go through.

Kansas beat Villanova, Miami, Providence, Creighton and Texas Southern. They won 3 of those 5 games by double digits. Whether you think Miami was worthy or not; the only team they beat that was credible was Villanova and Villanova was without one of their best players.

North Carolina has beat Duke, St. Peter’s, UCLA, Baylor and Marquette. The only easy opponent was the Cinderella story of Peter’s. Even then they beat THE Cinderella story. They knocked off last years champions in Baylor, last years Final 4 team in UCLA who had the same players as last year and ended Coach Ks career by beating their bitter rival in Duke. Marquette is not too bad either and we slaughtered them.

My only concern is Bacot and how serious his injury is. If he’s not 100%, then Kansas can take advantage.

Still it’s March Madness (in April) and I just can’t go against my team. Even though I don’t see it happening, I put my money on the dogs in North Carolina and hopefully Love and Davis can bring it home tonight.

This is the most March Madness I've watched in years. When the first round blew up everyone's bracket I couldn't help but pay attention.

I think it'll be a close game and as much as I am cheering for UNC, I think Kansas is too good and it's their game to lose. I think they're too much to handle in the 2nd half and pull away in the final moments. 81-74 Kansas.

That scenario is very possible.

The thing with Kansas so far has been they have been destroying their opponents to start the game. They get off to big leads and their opponents try and claw their way back throughout. The second half is more in the favor of UNC, but if Kansas builds a big enough first half lead then they’ll continue their formula of holding off their opponents.

Still; I’m in on UNC.
