The Cards need a pass rusher in the worst way. They have next to nothing there. I like that pick. Was looking at him for the Packers too.

This becomes a tug of war for the Dallas FO. Does Jerryworld get his ARKANSAS playmaker(Read up on Jones fetish for Darren McFadden in the 2008 NFL Draft, he ended up signing him 1st chance he got. He's one of the biggest boosters of his alma mater to this day) or does his son and the hivemind get their way like they did years ago and help replenish the OLine? Dallas is really hard to read but I think BPA lines up alongside Jerry getting his way here. With the 24th pick, the Dallas Cowboys select WR Treylon Burks out of Arkansas Yes OLine is a HUGE need, LG or RT with the losses they suffered in free agency and due to cap hits(Williams to MIA, Collins to CIN). But the playmakers alongside Dak Prescott also took a huge hit. Amari Cooper was let go due to salary restraints. Cedric Wilson signed with Miami. Dalton Schultz is on a 1 year franchise tag. Michael Gallup got his money but may not play all year due to the ACL tear so that leaves you with CeeDee Lamb and not much else afterwards. Personally, I think WR in round 2 makes more sense for Dallas but BPA has Burks around this range, maybe a little higher and the run of WRs that happened in round 1 vs the O-Line has Dallas gambling they can replenish this on Day 2. Burks has the big body mold that will be a great contrast to Lamb's burner ability, he didn't run as well as most thought which is why he could slip past the teens in the draft but he is a YAC machine and if given the ball on the outside, can do some massive damage. It's too hard to pass up for Jerry Jones with his Arkansas ties. R BELOVED BILLS OTC RT

While I believe the Buffalo Bills will probably draft a running back if one they like is available, I think their more glaring issue is pass protection. Their franchise QB can’t run his way out of trouble forever, and has an incredible arm when he’s actually given enough time to make a decision. With that in mind, the Buffalo Bills select, from Texas A&M, Kenyon GreenTodd

Yeah Breece Hall seems like a fun fit here for Buffalo but I don't think that would be the best choice. Cornerback is another pretty glaring need with Levi Wallace gone to Pittsburgh and Tre White possibly not being ready for the start of the season. Andrew Booth seems like the one that would be available.

Bucs have a few needs, regardless of the head coach. Secondary might be one of them given the FA status of certain guys like Murphy-Bunting & Winfield coming up soon, but the retirement of Ali Marpet has created 2 holes. One was fulfilled via trade from the Patriots for pro bowl guard Shaq Mason, there is still a hole on the interior that the Bucs would be wise to fill given their QB's age, regardless of his release time. The Bucs opt with this pick to take one of the most versatile OLineman in the draft, someone who can give you 3/5 positions on an O-Line, he was even learning center at the senior bowl just because! This player had a great senior bowl week for the Jets, definitely someone who has helped their stock and should stay in Round 1 all things considered. With the 27th pick, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select OG Zion Johnson out of Boston College

Couple of talents have fallen in the first 28 picks, going to be some decent talent in late rd 1/early rd 2. Good news for the Jets!

With the 28th pick in the 2022 Empire Mock Draft the Packers select: Christian Watson , WR , NDSU May seem like a bit of a reach for the workout warrior that is Watson but given how the board has fallen I see it being a possibility. Watson more than other receivers left fits exactly what the Packers look for as far as traits and his RAS score and they aren’t afraid to take these guys above others. He’s a huge body who runs a 4.36 - got some work to do for sure but should be a field stretcher from day one. I’d be okay with taking his upside here and getting a more polished guy on day two. mikec is up with back to back picks.

Damn good pick with Watson, having him work alongside an elite QB will make life easier when transitioning over to the pros. Chris Simms has Watson as his 2nd best WR of the draft after Jameson Williams.

There’s a few I like but none with his traits and given who and how many picks are in between the Packers pick - there’s no chance he’s falling that far. The Packers did it with Stokes last year too so I could see them reaching a bit for him.

As with every year I know fuck all about the draft so this year I just cross referenced a few big boards and went for it. I don’t expect Chiefs will be making both of these picks. 29. Andrew Booth, CB Clemson 30. Boye Mafa, Edge Minnesota UT

Booth is a good pick, he recently sustained a sports hernia which limited his pre draft workouts but he would be a great pick to replace Ward who went to SF. Was under consideration for TB.

Two really good picks though there. Mafe is on my list for the Packers and the Chiefs definitely have needs at both spots. Also took the top two guys I wanted for the Bengals.

With the 31st pick in the 2022 Empire Mock Draft , the Bengals select: Kaiir Elam , CB , Florida The Bengals have done a good job of building up their offensive line through Free Agency this offseason allowing them to focus on defense come draft day and I think they are in a position to get just the best player available anywhere on defense. To me right now that is Elam who fits the mold of the big physical corners always associated with the Bengals. He only allowed 19 catches for 191 yards in the SEC last year and I'd expect him to be able to contribute immediately to the Bengals secondary. KING KID is up with the Lions. Again.

Well I think most Chiefs fans will be mad if they don’t go receiver in the first round, and I’m fine with that and had one in mind but the big boards were a little split on them, so I went defense where the Chiefs really need focus to take care of gaping holes.

Aaron Rodgers isn’t going to play forever. Justin Jefferson will do what Moss and Diggs did and get out of Minnesota also. Detroit needs to build for the future and not next season.

With the first pick in the 2nd round (33rd overall) the Jacksonville Jaguars select: Tyler Linderbaum , C , Iowa Maybe one of the biggest steals of the draft at this point , not only is Linderbaum the best rated Center in this draft but he's the best rated Center in the history of PFF. A plug and play starter from day one and the type of prospect/kid that can come in an be an anchor for the offensive line in the middle. The Jaguars need a receiver but they need to fix their offensive line just as much and Linderbaum is the best building block you could ask for. He comps very favorably to Jason Kelce as well - a player Pederson knows well and won a Super Bowl with in Philly. This would be a dream scenario for the Jags and they just aren't in position to pass on players like him if they ever want to turn it around.
