To be fair I remember that 2/3 Falls match being a barn burner as the kids say.

That was the biggest dick face cock master move of the whole draft. It's crazy I finally decide to pull the trigger on pro wrestling eternal champions is the year Owen gets taken in the first round and some other dude does a dead wrestler draft hahaha.

Sad part is there are plenty for all 3 of us to have a nice roster. So far the only guy prior to Art Barr I lost to Ness was Test, none of his other picks really fit my theme. Owen was the big one I needed, Benoit wasn't on my board but I took him to replace Owen since he was gone. Mike Awesome was another one that hurt my card. Definitely makes it tough, but it's a fun challenge to book a card with so many different guys from different eras and styles. 

Has Art Barr ever been drafted before? I was for sure he was safe til the next come around. Dude did have an epic frog splash. His death is a huge butterfly effect on Eddie Guerrero's career, they were set to debut in ECW in Spring of 1995 as a tag team, instead Eddie debuted as a singles guy and the ECW smart marks gave him a lot of sympathy love right at the start because they knew about Barr, so he was immediately a top babyface in ECW and wins the ECW TV title in his debut beating Scorpio. I don't think they would have been as over as a tag team in ECW, the Malenko vs Guerrero series never happens, Eddie as a singles guy either doesn't happen for years or is never as big of a deal. Crazy

He's a name I RARELY see mentioned on PW, even in HOW. Like I can't say I see every post on PW ever, but he's just not someone that gets brought up too often. I really only know of him thanks to that Eddy DVD where their hair/mask match was featured as the main pre-ECW/WCW match. If a bunch of names weren't taken he probably wouldn't have been on my radar.

He's always been an interesting what if for ECW to me, Heyman had big plans for The Pair Of Terror as a tag team, interesting to think how they would have fit into that tag division with Benoit/Malenko/Public Enemy/Pit Bulls and later in the year Eliminators. Maybe Eddie is like the Saturn of the team and goes on to bigger things and Art Barr stays behind like Kronus and is just an ECW guy for good.

I've been thinking for a while about rebooking all of ECW history starting in the beginning in 1993, just a quick format without writing out matches or promos or anything just keep it simple. I would definitely bring in Barr and Guerrero for a tag run in 94 before Barr passes.

Not part of my original plan, but I actually spent some time thinking and decided that a lot of high profile female wrestlers had not been chosen, so why the hell not?
