NJPW's president says he wants to do a Forbidden Door event in Japan. May see a second show sooner rather than later.

Cole was hit with the one two punch of a new Halo and Elden Ring. Both a multiplayer and a single player time sink.

Ospreay vs Orange was absolutely fantastic. And the cherry on top, Katsuyori Shibata. Wonderful stuff.
Zack Sabre Jr. is my favourite wrestler in the world so I couldn't help but be disappointed at how this all went down. What should have been a debut and showcase for Zack Sabre Jr. against the dream opponent turned out to be a debut for Zack Sabre Jr. but only a showcase for his opponent. Putting my feelings aside, the match was really good. Definitely not the usual ZSJ match as he often dominates with his tekkers. It felt a bit jarring to see Claudio sell Zack's stuff as little as he did at the start of the match, but they did put over the match that Claudio could just muscle his way out of all the holds, and once he fatigued later on, Zack started to get his way. All in all it was a bit of a weird styles clash but they made it work and put some good sequences together. The finish fell a bit flat for me. Easily the best Claudio match I have seen, I could never get into WWE Cesaro. At least that's something to be optimistic about.
The Four Way was fantastic, great psychology, everybody got a chance to shine, although it did feel like Okada was taking a slight back seat to the other three. Finish was bizarre, guess White was meant to pin Cole a bit later but he got hurt so they called an audible, a very awkward one.
Moxley vs Tanahashi was fine. Don't get Mox's desire to cut himself in every single big match he has. It was completely uncalled for here and added nothing. Tanahashi looked super strong in defeat, stronger than he has for a long time, but I never believed he was winning, even when he hit High Fly Flow.
All in all a pretty good show, certainly more positives than negatives, and hopefully the start of a glorious relationship between the two comopanies.

Claudio was not a good match for Zack. Been decades since he did the eurostyle. Is will sound really weird, but the guy who should have faced ZSJ was Cabana. He does not break it out too often, but Colt has a super clean eurochain style that he can transition in and out of comedy spots. Did some really fun matches with Nigel back in the day with it. Would have been the best match with Zack they could put together with no DB around.
Mox did not blade. He got busted hardway when Tana headbutted him.
And Ospreay vs Orange was great, but it was just a great match on paper and likely the only original match to make it to the PPV after all the injuries.
Assume the finish was for Okada to level Cole with the Rainmaker and then have Switchblade steal the pin. But with Cole hurt, the moves Okada was saving for the end he did not get to do, and the finish looked like crap.

Little bit of backstage news: Gedo originally wanted The Young Bucks to win the IWGP Tag titles. Match would have been United Empire vs. Young Bucks, winner take all.
The Young Bucks felt the better story was FTR holding all 3 titles they currently have and eventually doing an FTR/Young Bucks rubber match for all 4 titles. Which I agree with.
Going to be billed as the biggest tag team title match of all-time, for sure.

Going to be billed as the biggest tag team title match of all-time, for sure. If they titles had equal prestige then Gedo way would have been better since both sides would have two a piece to put on the line. As of now NJPW are probably the most prestige but AEW could say they are equal but FTR still has two more belts. So to makes this work the Bucks need to pick up Impact and CMLL. FOR PC. I thought you might dig this RT , Cash & Dax is great as good guys. I didn't think that was possible. They always been more face like with their actions. From honoring the dead and past with things about them. The name of their finisher and their music. The only thing that made them heels coming in was going on Cornette's podcast before arriving.
