There was rumblings that the Jets may trade up with say CAR at 6 if Sauce is left alone at 4 & 5 and the Jets snipe the Giants of him. That would be insane. But yeah Peter Schrager who has tons of intel within the Jets FO and GM Joe Douglas, buddy and fellow ex Ravens scout mate(He even tried to hire him upon arrival) Daniel Jeremiah all picked Sauce Gardner. And Blindy did too like 1-2 months ago so yeah Ahmad Gardner come on down. Richard Sherman probably told his ex coach Robert Saleh you gotta get him or your going to Green Bay as a defensive coordinator next year. Sherman is massively high on Gardner.

Owners still have to be willing to spend the money and the good teams/owners know how to work the cap and spend a tons of extra money that doesn’t count against it. Either way the draft is legitimately one of the most popular and beloved things in sports by millions of fans and the idea of getting rid of it is stupid.
