I really liked the Texans first four rounds. I’m sure he hates on the early Green pick but I loved that dude coming in. I think he can easily be an Elgton Jenkins which is huge.

Stingley is boom or bust but Pitre was another awesome pick and I liked the Pearce pick.

I think giving any team an F unless they do something completely absurd like a Mike Mayock first round pick is stupid. He had Stingley overdrafted by 16 places but it was Metchie who was the real outlier by a few rounds.

Probably the most interesting UDFA Justyn Ross signed with the Chiefs. He tore up Alabama in the natty a few years ago but has an unprecedented injury history with his spinal fusion. It will be interesting to see if he is able to make their roster, you'd think Juju, MVS, Hardman and Skyy Moore have the top four spots locked so it will be a battle between Ross and guys like Josh Gordon, Corey Coleman and practice squad legend Gehrig Dieter.

There are guys like Josh McCown and Alex Smith who act professional and do whatever they can to help the next man up because it's for the good of the team however. That's your main priority as a paid professional, to do what is best for the team. No one is saying for him to give his job up to Willis but why not be open to help him out?

A players job is also to look out for themselves. Not saying Tannehill should outright be a dick to him but to think he owes anything to a dude trying to take his job is just dumb.

That's between player and management but this is player vs player? Malik Willis didn't choose to go to TEN, maybe he can help the team out whether to help scout vs the first team offense when facing Lamar Jackson. Or have him hold the clipboard and help communicate to Tannehill the plays. Or be moral support or to tell the fans to pipe down if they are calling his name after a poor game by Tannehill. He's trying to make a living and living his dream too. Just seems lame to have someone not there to help you out and say "Not my job, we have a QB coach for a reason".

Just seems silly to bring this out in the open rather than give generic answers. Teammates probably roll their eyes seeing the captain drawing a line in the sand. He has a history of this in Miami too, he was nowhere to be found when Martin was being bullied by Incognito, two of his O-Lineman. He was the same guy getting ready to take over for Mariota a few years ago, chomping at the bit. Mariota didn't throw anyone under the bus because it was best for business.

He did choose the team needing to go with cheaper options(Rookie deals) by signing his deal, his deal is what forced the hand of AJ Brown to be traded. I don't fault him for that but the team has to get players at other positions for depth on the cheap because the QB got his megadeal. 

I have had a full time government job for almost 7 years, do human resource related work...and I am continuously relied upon and asked upon at work to help coworkers out. I do it because we are a team and because that's what professionals do. We help each other out. I am not intentionally concealing information I know from a coworker, trying to make them look bad. That's shit. I take it as a honor and feel pretty good whenever someone asks me for help or advice on anything work related, shows that they care and shows they value/view me pretty highly.

I would be angry at the employer but not going to take it out on the new hire. Not their fault at all. Not going to set them up to fail. I will share what I know and leave on good terms. Especially when you have made the money that Tannehill has made over 3 contracts as a pro with a chance to make some more down the road. 

He’s not setting him up to fail.
