I can't believe he hasn't scored yet. I can't believe Gallant has persisted with the line with Kreider and Vatrano when they've all been so poor. They have no energy offensively and have been downright reproachable on defence. The kid line is the only one that looks remotely threatening, it's so bizarre that they have been the only highlight throughout this series when going in you'd think their inexperience might have been the weakness in the lineup.

After you posted this Trouba threw an elbow at Crosby’s head and knocked him out of the game. No call.  Refs were ass tonight. There was a run that prompted that post just as NYR were starting to take the momentum where there was three blatant penalties in maybe two minutes of play not called against Pittsburgh, a slash on Panarin as he drove to the net and a couple of clear times where Fox & Chytil's sticks were held. Trouba's hit on Crosby wasn't a great look (especially as he'd already elbowed Guentzel in the first 30 seconds of the game) but I think the claim that he was headhunting is too harsh. If you watch the clip you can see his stick got stuck in Crosby's skate and that played a role in the contact. Malkin crosschecked Rooney in the face after this so Penguins fans really have no room to complain about dirty hits.

Also the interference penalty Holl got called for earlier wasn’t interference. And Tampa has done the same thing 3 or 4 times now. No calls.
