Freddie Prinze Jr has revealed he plans to start his own wrestling company within the next 18 months.

Freddie began by stating that the reason he returned to acting in Netflix's upcoming Christmas Quinceanera was to fund his wrestling dreams.

The actor then said he started watching a variety of wrestling promotions including GCW and old Ring Of Honor shows, before looking into possibly renting venues to run his own shows.

But after returning to work in acting, Freddie said he is now looking into finding a full-time hone for his venture and says he should have the money for a 'three-year plan'.

He explained: "It doesn't have to make money for three years before I'm like, 'Yo man, I gotta go do another damn movie.' I have to be in Scooby part seven or some crap like that to keep this floating."

I've been listening to Wrestling With Freddie and he's been tossing this around for awhile. One thing Freddie made clear is that he wouldn't book the promotion because he admits that working in the WWE taught him that he isn't cut out for it and instead just wants to create an environment to showcase the talent outside of Vince's vision of sports entertainment.

His favourite wrestlers are typically the women, but he does put over the likes of Eddie Kingston and the more scientific MMA-like wrestlers as well.

This won't sell you on it nath, but he gives himself credit for putting the Bellas on TV. I haven't listened in a month or so but his other credits were Jeff Hardy, The Brian Kendrick and MVP.
