Zero effort at all by the writers. Killed the show.

Joe and Reigns was really good. Well laid out match, with Joe on offence for the majority, allowing Reigns to sell and get the crowd behind him. Capped off with a hot finish as well which played into the stipulation of the match. Reigns retains and so far his 2017/18 IC reign has been pure gold.
Balor and The Club should become a permanent angle. Both could really use one another moving forward.

Asuka vs Alexa Bliss was a fantastic match. I loved the way Bliss conducted herself in this match. She's normally a cocky wrestler with chickenshit tendencies. Here she acted apprehensively. Not scared, but reluctant to engage. This led to her stalling on the outside, which doubles as a heat getter and staying consistent with that emotion. It also makes Asuka look dominant. But Asuka is not flawless, and Bliss capitalised on a mistake to gain the edge, and smartly worked the ribs for the next few minutes. Notice how Asuka escaped the rest holds twice by countering into her own holds, while Alexa had to escape those by scrambling to the ropes. Gets Asuka over as a superior submission wrestler. But Bliss stays on top until her cockiness takes over and she slaps Asuka, leading to Asuka's heated comeback and a victory. Very clever match, and a level or two above the match they had in NXT. Bliss has really grown as a worker.
Joe vs Reigns was good, but Joe's heat segment was too long and slowly-paced for my liking. After the comeback though, it was really good, with a bunch of clever/dramatic spots and a nice finishing sequence.
Someone explain to me why the heck Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins are the tag champs?

Someone explain to me why the heck Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins are the tag champs? It;s the classic good guy/bad guy tag team champ scenario the WWE loves to do. Remember when Jericcho and the Rock were feuding and were tag champs. It's going to be something like that, but in this case they are using it to try and slowly build Jordan into a top heel. Rollins faceness will be the dichotomy to what they want us to perceive in Jordan as a heel. Eventually we will see Jordan betray Rollins in an obvious manner. Last night we already saw the beginning of the end when Rollins went for a high five or whatever and Jordan left him hanging. Of course the WWE wants you to think this was meaningful, problem is they split tag teams so often and so fast it's hard to keep up.

I figured it was that overdone angle, but how did they come to team together in the first place?
