I’m really hoping the Rangers pull it off now. Tampa/Carolina will just be a repeat of Tampa/Islanders. Smothering defensive team starts series strong, Tampa figures them out and wins anyway. Boo. Give me lights out wild offence with the two best goalies in the league standing on their heads. Rangers whooping their asses right now so Game 7 is coming. Your wish comes true.

I'm officially prepared for game 7. Either steak kabobs or takeout for dinner. To snack on: chips and dip, stuffed and hot peppers, ice cream, and Sapporo to stay hydrated. I'm more than qualified to scream at the Rangers to hustle and battle for every puck as I eat in gluttony.

Think the secret to a Rangers victory tomorrow is getting an early goal. Score first and then Carolina won't be able to clog the neutral zone. Hopefully Raanta is a bit rattled after his performance in G6.

Gave up a few more shots than would be ideal but apart from that a pretty dream period. Forecheck is working as well as I've seen from the Rangers in a long time, the energy is well and truly there. Trouba is playing like a madman.
