Sadly, not a single women's match on the card. Is it that hard to bring SOMEONE from Stardom to take part?! There has been rumours that there will be a separate show with STARDOM heavily involved. Possibly an all-women's PPV of STARDOM vs AEW I wouldn't rule out someone from STARDOM popping up at Forbidden Door either. I could absolutely see Jade Cargill making an appearance and being all "why is AEW's most dominant star not involved? What the hell is this?" then someone like Giulia or Syuri or Mayu Iwatani showing up.

Yeah STARDOM is very, very interested in getting some of their girls back. Not even for a PPV, but also to just have them regularly appear on the shows if they are free and stuff.
STARDOM is not interested though in who Tony is. They want Jamie, Rosa and Toni back and are interested in Britt. Also they would like to use Sakura and Shida.

Forbidden Door in Chicago STARDOM vs AEW in Tokyo Thunder Rosa defends against a tournament winner Britt vs Syuri Hayter vs Giulia Toni Storm and Ruby Soho vs whoever the Goddess champs are Nyla Rose vs Koguma I don’t know the history with Shida and Riho and whoever else so I’ll let someone who knows that pick their matchups.

It is all a costly work. And one that people are pissed about since Tony worked the boys and some were concerned that MJF was in trouble when he missed the autograph session not realizing it was all a work.

Every credible source has said the meet n greet no show was not a work. I don’t know why people keep saying it is. They’ve spun the situation into a work, yes, but MJF went into business for himself by no showing that event and the reason people are pissed is because he wasn’t punished for it but instead worked the entire situation into a storyline. SRS has said there will be more info to come too and there’s a lot going on that will still come to light. He also said that even Tony Khan himself isn’t entirely sure what is going on with MJF. It seems like MJF and his people are feeding the insiders more info than they are Tony Khan and AEW. Which is also not good.

Forbidden Door is a work - all those Japanese guys you see are holograms.

But for all we know, MJF got his new contract weeks before the PPV. Being a private company, Tony can work the dirtsheets in ways they not been worked in a long time by simply lying about things that WWE cannot legally lie about, like contracts. It is not like Tony to do this, but so is like MJF to pitch this to Tony and convince him to run with it. Should pester Matt Hardy to get him to comment on it and see his take. Will try it next time I catch him streaming. If he ever takes time off to be home to do so.
