So I guess Alex Smith won't be getting another season in KC. Also Andy Reid, I wouldn't get to comfortable. Mariotta did great though. He may not be a stat king but he's got some magic in him. Bummed the Rams lost. I'll forever hate Atlanta for making Tom Brady even more of a legend.

Rams will be fine with that coach. I'm not 100% sold on the QB, but he's still young and there's enough threat from all areas of that team to lift the responsibility from Goff.
Falcons have an opportunity now, defense is riding the wave after that great display, and they'll have Foles for breakfast.

I loved seeing the hard working, bad luck injury prone, good guy Eric Decker get a huge TD and the me first, out of touch, mercenary Revis half ass on a open field tackle and continue to need safety help in coverage to make up for his lack of speed and his inability to grab WRs in 2018.
Nothing new as this was what I saw from the two the last 2 seasons. Nothing changed.

Chiefs should be ashamed of that 2nd half showing. It seemed like once the second half started they felt like it was in the bag but once they got woke up to the fact that it wasn't they could never get the train on the tracks without Kelce there as the big play threat.
I like Goff as the QB for the rams. I think he will be ok. The fault here lays with the butter fingers on punt returns. Just terrible and it's going to keep that stupid ass myth alive that "It's a playoff game so the game is entirely different" bullshit that every football analyst likes to throw out there.

Come on Buffalo! lol. It would be my dream for Buffalo to roll into Gillette Stadium and bump the patriots out of the playoffs. I mean really anybody could bump the pats out and I would be forever grateful to them for not giving these arrogant pricks another trophy but Buffalo would make it extra sweet since they haven't had a playoff run in forever and i'd love to see them get a SB ring after all the failures in the 90's. But step one is getting by the Jags defense and I'm still not sold on Taylor being the guy to lead them against that and then being able to go on and go score for score with Tom Brady. Hopefully i'm wrong. I like how appreciative Bills fans are being to Andy Dalton. lol

After the first half I was worried the Chiefs were going to keep Alex Smith, so at least the second half calmed that fear down.

Jags can give up yards to the run on times. If Buffalo can start well with some scoreboard pressure, they could force Bortles into chasing scores and pick him off.
Buffalo running game is going to be a huge factor.
Jags for me, just.

Played well last night, got let down by receivers and boasts Brady-like stats from the regular season. I sense I'm missing something.

The Rams made it further than anyone would have predicted at the beginning of the season and have something to build on , the loss last night sucks , I was rooting for them , but it's something to build on. They have a nice core to build around and as soon as they get rid of the most worthless player in the league in Tavon Austin - they might be able to add a few more pieces.
Today I hope the Jaguars and Saints win. So I'm sure the Bills and Panthers will.
The Jaguars need to not let Bortles throw the ball , I know he's been playing well but he is capable of single handedly losing them a game , even if their defense plays it's best game of the season.

He's been stuck with the label of "game manager" since his days with the San Fran. Basically he had the perception that he's a dink and dunk QB who isn't effective with the big play down field and is only good in front runner situations. I wouldn't say that is 100% true of his time in KC but sometimes a reputation is hard to shake, even harder to shake with performances like last night.

He isn't the type of quarterback that is ever going to get you over the hump. When everything is going well , he's got a running game and all his receivers are healthy - he can put up numbers but he isn't going to win many games , especially important games by carrying a team on his back. Alex Smith is a fine quarterback , that can be a good and bad thing in the NFL depending on the perspective.

Their #1 WR hurt 2 mins into the season and their best LB played 5 games this year.

I bet the Chiefs/Titans game would've went KC's way, had Travis Kelce not gotten hurt.

My theory is they wanted to keep the passing game alive and knock one down the field and at least get a FG out of things to give them a bit of cushion. Yeah why they couldn't just do that with Hunt I have no idea but sometimes a coach just over thinks thing and maybe thinks that the other team would expect the run game so they go for the pass and just keep hanging with that style even though it's not working just in the hopes they land the big bomb. It was a terrible strategy though. Trust in the run game if it's working. Seattle learned that the hard way in the superbowl. Dallas recently learned that when they did not run Zeke in from like the fucking two yard line.Trust your running back if he's been there for you.

I'm rooting for the Bills throughout the AFC playoffs but I just don't see them making it out of this game, I'll take Jaguars 29-10. I got an up close and personal look at this Jaguars defense a couple times this year and it ain't no joke. I told ya'll years ago AJ Bouye was legit.

Good insight on Smith fellas, appreciated.
Rooting hard here for the Bills. And the underrated Tyrod Taylor.

I'd love if Buffalo won, but it'd be better if Pittsburgh had to deal with Sacksonville.

Buffalo has a lack of weapons especially against this Jags defense but they are playing smart, high percentage football and having some joy on defense themselves.
Interesting game if unspectacular.

The Jags getting into the endone first might be all that is needed to win this game. 10-3 could end up being the final score.

Hopefully he's ok.
