I just watched the Undertaker bio. I had no idea he had to go to South Africa at one point to ply his trade. Talk about being off the grid territory wise, it makes his story even more remarkable. Also cool we got a snippet into the BSK stuff and addressing his relationship with his children from his previous marriage.

Really enjoyed the Goldberg biography. Yes he viewed wrestling as a business and not a passion but he still took it very seriously. He was an outsider but he had so much natural talent which I still believe more than made up for his lack of experience. He is still one of the most underrated talents in the history of the business in my view after seeing so many people dump on him over the years. He really portrays himself as a babe in the woods during his WCW days, "just doing what the guys in the back told me to do". Watching the old footage back from that time Bobby Heenan and Mike Tenay were amazing adding commentary to Goldberg matches. It's another world from what we see in today's commentary teams.
I was surprised to see Bret Hart's narrative change a bit on what really caused his career ending injury when he smacked his head on the floor doing the figure four on the ring post. He still blamed Goldberg though for not holding his foot which caused him to slip and smack his head, good old bitter Bret. Goldberg still feels bad about it to this day not surprisingly. There is a funny sequence where Bret still thinks Bill intentionally hurt him and Goldberg just goes, "why would I intentionally hurt the guy that's leading me through the match?" So yeah I still strongly disagree with Bret's take on Goldberg.
It was also good to see his family and how involved they were in getting him back in the ring 12 years later. It was kind of heartwarming to hear Goldberg wanting to take his son away from watching the youtube clips and wanting to get him to experience it all in person. In the end Goldberg is just a straight shooter who always had good intentions in the wrestling business but sadly those intentions got maligned by dumb wrestling fans, including myself for a time in the early 2000's. Huge respect for him being his own man and not being gobbled up by the wrestling bubble.
