JAS doing JAS things and I really enjoyed Jericho and Mox going at each other. I’m glad they aren’t waiting until All Out to do this match. I wonder how close Punk is to returning? Maybe he gets the winner at All Out?

Jericho looked stupid saying he would be the first 2x AEW Champ without mentioning that he has to beat CM Punk first. By his logic Moxley already is a 2x champ. Glad Mox caught that and let Jericho have it.

The FTW title stuff had me all over the place. I wanted Danhausen to win for the chaos it would bring, and I’m DYING for someone outside of Team Taz to hold the FTW title. But then HOOK came out and got a MASSIVE reaction and all was right with the world…

…until Hobbs killed Ricky Starks. Amazing turn. Just dummies him and stands there. Hobbs vs Wardlow please.

Dante Martin vs Sammy Guevara was fine. Martin is amazing as always. Give me Dante Martin & Private Party as a team in the Trios tournament.

I’m so fucking happy Jungle Boy nailed his promo. By far the only thing holding him back was his mic work and he crushed it. That was a make or break moment for him and he made it. Sky’s the limit for him now.

Handicap match was whatever. Forgettable. But I love watching Swerve do Swerve things so that was fine. The real stuff was Josh “The Goods” Woods taking out Keith Lee. The team of Woods and Nese has tons of potential. Great pairing.

Rosa rules and I love her. Good match and I hope we see even more Joshi wrestlers making the trip over.

Trios titles!!! That means two things: A) awesome tournament incoming and B) KENNY’S COMING BACK!!!!!!

Will The Hung Bucks reunite? Not looking likely. I’m intrigued though. These guys always tell a great story.

Garcia getting the win over Danielson was amazing. AEW is finally giving us some surprise wins and I couldn’t be happier. I think we’re about to see BCC try and recruit Garcia finally.

And the biggest news of the night: AEW IS FINALLY COMING TO CANA-…it’s at the Coca Cola Forum? That place only seats 7600 people…

So I looked into it and while I’m disappointed literally thousands of people won’t get tickets, I get it. Tony wants to do a Canada show before the end of 2022 and Scotiabank Arena is booked solid (the Maple Leafs literally play the same night as Dynamite), Rogers Centre is too big to try and sellout (even if I wish the mad man would try), and the only other big venue in Toronto is an open stadium. Too risky that time of year.

Also, the arena is pretty decent. It’s very intimate and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Mark that date on your calendars because that episode of Dynamite will be amazing. The crowd is going to be INSANE.

I’m going to try and get tickets but I’m not holding my breath. It’ll sell out immediately.

I agree you could see Jungle Boy finally break though his shell. I think he should have stop one minute ealier though before the buring his father story. Being a good promo and story teller aren't completely the same.

I don't know why I use to say Nese has no charisma but now I think he has anti charisma. He cancels out my interest in watching people I like.

Loved the FTW title segment. Perfectly executed. Hook beating Ricky Starks was booked perfectly: Starks hit the most offense anyone has ever hit on Hook. Tazmission finished worked, especially since Starks' neck was messed up in the Danhausen match. Danhausen will make a great jobber, it's a long time since we've seen a full-fledged jobber. It's not a bad thing, and if Danhausen has greater ambitions, he needs to ditch the gimmick. But maybe he doesn't, and that's fine. What he does is working.

Speaking of working, Starks with an incredible babyface promo, accentuated by the Hobbs turn. They planted the seeds but I wasn't expecting it in that moment. Well played.

It was indeed a make or break moment for Jungle Boy and fortunately he delivered. Bit surprised at the direction they're going with Luchasaurus, but that's because of my WWE conditioning expecting the Swervasaurus at any moment. Now I'm thinking they might just keep Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy together, but odds are still in favour of Swervasaurus happening in the near future. He's dressed in his heel gear after all.
