Watch this episode of Rampage do better ratings wise than the rut the show has gone under. Tony Khan is trying hard to get that show some ratings, took him long enough to wake up and smell the coffee.

He was bleeding something awful. They even gave him a towel to try to slow down the blood loss.

I really enjoyed the opening 10 minutes of Jericho/Moxley. It was nice to see some holds and I thought they did a good job of raising the intensity. However that decision to lock in the Walls during the entire ad-break really just hurt the flow of the match and the finishing stretch was lame. Especially that spot where they had Sammy throw Jericho the bat, that looked so ridiculous.

Again, I'm not a fan of how AEW can't let a segment breathe. If that was the blow-off for Jericho-Moxley that would have been sweet but now not only is that feud going on but it appears Punk is going to get caught up in it as well and they're going to do another uneasy alliance deal heading into All Out.

What's up with RUSH & Andrade/Lucha Bros? It seemed like neither team wanted to sell for the other and they seemed really indecisive at times.

Can somebody please get Julia Hart and the Bucks some acting coaches please?

Some people are speculating there is still something going on with AAA/CMLL guys working with each other. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’re being told not to sell or some shit.

With that match and the upcoming trios tournament they’re obviously allowed to work together but I bet something is still going on behind the scenes.

No, Anna's whole shtick is a little goofy but at least it's on brand for the JAS. Meanwhile Julia disrupts Miro's promo and tries to seduce him into joining the House of Black but it was such a wooden delivery that it gave Miro nothing to work with making the whole interaction awkwardly hilarious. It was like Miro was reciting a D&D speech only for his little sister to come in and ruin the moment.

I think it work for Julia the way Miro thinks of her. She is just a lesser slutty worshiper of a dark being. They usually look good but are a little dumb. I assume it will come to bite him in the ass when she causes his down fall. Leading to it is CJ she is here.

Anna moving to JAS was a good call. Dark Order did nothing for her and she only joined them way back when because they needed women to push when the roster was smaller.

She clearly isn’t progressing wrestling-wise so she needs some character development to stay relevant. JAS provides that. Hopefully she trains more and begins to improve as a wrestler because it’s been a few years now and she isn’t much better than she was when she joined AEW.

Also wanted to comment on the news last night that Kris Statlander is injured and might be out long term. She was there last night on crutches and reports say it’s a knee injury, although it isn’t the same knee that she had surgery on before. No word if this one needs surgery yet.

Seemed really likely they were setting her up to dethrone Jade Cargill, likely at Grand Slam since Kris is from Long Island. This is the second time she’s been in the middle of a push and fucked up her knee. What luck.

Well in Hart's defense she is still super young and basically the breakout of the Nightmare Factory right now.

Dark Order should be using some of the girls they got no other place for anyway.  Return to the theme that they may not be the best, but they got numbers.

What a great edit. I love this. Takes me back to watching Jericho ham it up in WCW

The Coffin match was a fantastic way to open the show. Both guys just went all in and I even appreciated the clusterfuck shenanigans. Finish was absolutely perfect, well done Brodie King on that execution.

One of the low key coolest things about AEW is the House of Black and the little details. The black mark of corruption on Sting's facepaint is beautiful. Also Julia Hart's whole arc is fantastic and very underappreciated. She even showed up to tempt Miro which is a nice touch.

I absolutely loved the Matt Jackson/Hangman Page segment, that was a genuinely heartfelt apology and Hangman was even tearing up. Love that they played it straight, and I even like that Hangman Page refused the Bucks' offer for the wonderful reason that he wants to have the Dark Order's back. Wholesome wrestling! Also might be the best promo Matt Jackson has ever done.

The World Championship match wasn't my favourite match in the world, but I respect the serious old school build, both guys cutting short backstage promos at the start of the show, the time dedicated to it. At first I found it hard to buy middle age Jericho going back to his athletic prime persona but somehow it worked really well, and Jericho didn't overdo it, slipping into his current violent brawler style pretty quickly. It was the boost needed to give us a small bit of doubt that Moxley would lose, but of course he didn't. Moxley didn't need the Judas Effect kick out as he already has the invincible unbeatable booking, but I also don't object: the match is big enough to warrant such a spot. Great work.

You bought that apology Emperor? If I was Hangman, I would have been completely terse with them. Sure, Hangman helped them out the week prior but that was more about sticking it to that weedy Adam Cole than anything else. Meanwhile here he is hanging out with his peers who clearly value him when his old friends saunter in. Instead of making a sincere personal apology, they start playing to the camera and deliver this over the top apology that you do when you're taking the piss. I've lost track of the amount of times I've used it on you. Then as soon as they finish with that they immediately start making requests and since Hangman is a giant softy he has to let them down in the nicest way possible instead of doing what he should have done and laughed in their face and been like 'are you for real? hell no!' and turned my back on them. That whole segment just came off like one big high school production. I'm almost worried that the Bucks at this stage are genuine sociopaths.

The Dark Order never win anything big. I am sure they asked Hangman to team with two of them and he said no. Hangman also acts likes he can't have more then one group of friends.

I assume Omega comes back soon so did the Bucks not know he was ready to return. Guess they never check on their friends. And Hangman isn't the only one that won't tag with his other friends. Cutler has asked a few times to team with Bucks.

Omega is going to return, Cole & ReDragon are going to pop up and strike, then Page is going to make the save and stand with his old tag partner again. But then he’ll back off because he doesn’t need The Elite anymore. He’ll go do Cowboy Shit while we have Elite vs TUE.

It’s gonna suck for Hangman though when Dark Order loses in the first round and he watches The Elite walk to the finals.
