So true. Ladder match against Undertaker on RAW in late June was the last time Jeff felt better, more relevant, and full of promise. Fans in 2007-2008 should've known better. Fool me twice n'at. While I personally think Mattitude was the peak, you cannot argue that Matt didn't pick up his character game in the wake of that ladder match, so much so that he's been the better Hardy ever since despite his bow legs and gut.

It's a pretty good one trick though in small doses.

Remember a fellow mark giving me the RW DVD to watch. Only liked the Hart tag match, which was basically the only one that wasn't a squash.

Their match against The Nasty Boys was by far my favorite.

Nikki Cross/A.S.H.: In NXT, the gimmick was great, and she played the unhinged person well. When coming up to the main roster, as tends to happen with a lot of NXT call ups, the gimmick got messed with a bit, but she was still entertaining, and her and Alexa Bliss made for a good duo together (it seemed like they really were having fun together as a tag team). Eventually, they turn Bliss darker, putting her with Fiend, and then sometime down the road, Cross becomes Nikki A.S.H., wanting to be a super hero, but just feeling like a less fun Mighty Molly. I'm glad she won the women's title, but I do wish it would have been under the Nikki Cross gimmick instead of A.S.H. gimmick.

Not that he lost me but I never got Adam "Hangman" Page. I just don't get the hype or see what's so special about him.

He carried The Bucks' bag for years, AEW is their way of paying him back.

Throughout history dummies have fucked up a lot of good things. (Jack in the Box and the Ultimate Cheeseburger) Looking back for me anyways its almost like Vince wanted them so no one else could have them and then he did all he could to bring them down with Rocco, drunk Hawk, Puke, ect....

At least he gave them a cool name in Legion of Doom. They could've ended up as the Boulevard Bruisers or Avenue Avengers or Street Soldiers or something.
