After what Scott Frost pulled off today, I'm not sure I'd want to take the trip back to Lincoln.

12 teams, eh?

I can imagine the table being the top four teams getting a first round bye, with the remaining eight teams battling to join the top four in the quarterfinals.

Buckeyes vs. Notre Dame tomorrow. Probably gonna get killed at work; the one year we don't square up against some throwaway mid-major or random D-1A school to start the season.

Gonna be insane. Can't wait to see the Freeman era fully begin(I know he coached the bowl defeat vs Ok St but he has a full offseason now behind him). Major task in trying to stop CJ Stroud to Jaxon Smith-Njigba which put on a clinic in the bowl game. Two probable top 10 picks next draft. Could be a long night if there's no answer. 

App state scores 40 points in 4th quarter and loses 63-61

LSU vs FSU went from being a dull affair to a ridiculous series of fuckups in the final couple of minutes. It looked like Florida State were going to ice the game with a touchdown to go up two scores, only for a terrible pitch play on the goalline led to a fumble. LSU charged down the field in and scored a TD only to have the PAT blocked (they'd already had a short FG blocked earlier in the game too) and FSU escaped with the win.

Brian Kelly is not off to a great start in Baton Rouge, he'd previously won 42 straight against non-ranked opponents.

Speaking of Brian Kelly, oh man he is learning fast how hot it is in the bayou.

This was such a bad game. Terrible playcalling from Gus Malzahn completely abandoning what was working at the beginning of the game, terrible quarterbacking from Plumlee who doesn't have awareness, and terrible commentary from the ESPN crew. But it's football so I still watch.

Man I love college football Saturdays. Especially now that WI got it going.

That Bama/Texas game was great. Bryce Young is the next DUDE.

Notre Dame is pathetic.

Buchner is pathetic and it's on Freeman that he continues to stick with him, that's why #WeAreMarshall are going to pull off the upset. It's fucking tragic they can't recognize he's not a good QB and probably will not be. At least see what you have in Drew Pyne. The experiment is over, Freeman is now looking at 0-3 to start his coaching career.

EDIT: Pyne gets in late game and is INT'd the 2nd throw he makes, the QBs are going to hinder ND all year. Terrible loss. Terrible. 

Texas's defense showed up pretty well against Alabama. But holy shit, their red zone O was quite shitty. Only one TD, and three field goals. And one miss from LESS THAN 30 YARDS!!! And that ultimately cost them the game.

Nebraska fires Scott Frost after a whopping 2 games. Yes the Georgia Southern loss was a tragic one but man all of that training camp for what? :lol:

They've been quite the LOLcow since Tom Osbourne retired.  Moving to the Big Ten didn't help matters, either.

What a finish between Troy and App State. The Hail Mary at the end reminds me of a similar finish in 1983, when Billy "White Shoes" Johnson was with the Atlanta Falcons, caught the winner in almost the exact same fashion to beat the 49ers.

Damn they got Herm. I am stunned he kept this ASU gig as long as he did between the nonsense off the field and how weird of a fit he was for that team.

My homestate Maryland terrapins take Michigan to the wire but lose Clemson survives so no top 5 upsets

Big upset to end the day. K-State came to Oklahoma and beat the sixth ranked Sooners.

So many great games today and I ended up watching OSU embarrass Wisconsin and Utah easily roll Arizona State. Big time L for me.

Wow. Oklahoma looks like they haven't shaken off last week's loss to K-State. They don't look like themselves here against TCU.
