I am sure the episode will do well and missed the first match but was kind of a let down night minus the acclaimmed win and Saraya debut.

Probably shares a bank account with his mom. I am stunned he would try and get on Saraya's bad side by ruining that type of surprise for a meager couple of clicks. Seems like an unnecessary way to burn your bridge with your source(s).

She got Zombiefied as a theme. That dominated Octane number 1 spot for months. Being married to the singer probably helps

In a way, I wonder if flashing to MJF was a way to offset any disappointment a seasoned AEW fan may feel watching Moxley win his third world title at the expense of a living legend? Through out this entire tournament, they've had MJF lurk behind the shadows serving as a spectre as AEW tries to get back on track. It certainly made Danielson-Moxley feel like an after-thought watching it live and judging by the crowd interest I'd dare say it was the third best match of the night.
Still, it remains to be seen whether we'll get Moxley-MJF at Full Gear or if MJF will cash in his chip like a Money in the Bank briefcase beforehand. There is another Battle Royal set for Rampage to determine Moxley's challenger for the October 18th edition of Tuesday Dynamite, so for the time being it appears MJF will work with Yuta while Moxley faces off with the challenger at that point. Right now I believe that match-up will only serve to give Moxley some credibility as champion as opposed to a transitional champion when he does likely pass the belt over to MJF.
The interesting part in all of this is what happens to Wardlow? He's being booked like a Money in the Bank briefcase holder where it seems like he's being kept in the background to heighten the element of surprise. I have this theory that Wardlow was this albatross around AEW's neck who had to beat MJF, but they didn't necessarily want to push him over MJF so they hatched some Brian Pillman esque storyline that not even the sheets were buying into. Only a Sapp fell for it.
It looks like TK was on the same wave-length as X-Zero when he relieved Cesaro of the ROH Title. Jericho is one of Tony's loyal soldiers who is always going to be a focal part of the promotion, so it makes sense to make him the figurehead of ROH while Moxley carries around the AEW Championship. It also furthers this Lionheart gimmick Jericho is pushing which will see him work with Garcia at some point.
The Acclaimed prove that there's still value for personalities in Pro Wrestling. They're over and it's really through an Attitude Era preamble, a gesture and the angle with the Gunns. Interestingly, when AEW first started off, the tag team division was the work-rate division of AEW. Fast forward and it appears to be the comedy division and it's going to be interesting to see how long that lasts and how FTR figures in.
Nice pop for Saraya, good for her. Still, it seemed like the most cliche debut imaginable in a division that is hopelessly lost right now. So much so, the women are competing in 4-way free for alls over an interim championship. Saraya has a big challenge on her hands, she'll need to distance herself from Paige and try to be an interesting character. I just don't know if Saraya is necessarily interesting as a babyface or as a heel. In fact that goes for a lot of the women's roster.
I do see the signing as the cupboard getting very bare for hot free agents. Tony needed a big announcement and after signing Punk, Danielson, ROH, forming a working relationship with NJPW and Trina - Saraya was probably the best they could do. Shame for the other women, especially SHIDA who has probably (no, actually definitely) fled the country.
All in all, that was 3 weeks of cleaning up the mess that was All Out. I'm predicting the company will be heading in a new-ish direction, but it may not be until January that they really get their wings underneath them.

I really hope AEW don't go the cheap route with these heels cashing in on a babyface who's just had a match or who's just been beaten down. It's an awful gimmick. Wouldn't be surprised if they did that with MJF though.
Moxley vs Danielson was fantastic. Just a pure slugfest, they didn't pull any punches, that match embodied everything the Blackpool Combat Club claims to be about and it was wonderful. A real fight to the death.
The rest of the show was nothing special apart from Saraya's appearance which was a real shock and popped the crowd huge. The Acclaimed winning tag team gold was obviously great too, the correct booking decision, but the match kinda sucked.

The Acclaimed winning tag team gold was obviously great too, the correct booking decision, but the match kinda sucked. That Mic Drop spot killed the match dead. The only explanation I can think of is that Swerve was meant to knock Caster off the top rope forcing Max to tweak his knee. Otherwise he just sucked the air out of the entire building for no reason. Maybe Caster being a horrible wrestler adds to the babyface appeal?

Jon Moxley vs Juice Robinson announced for next week’s Dynamite. It’s an Eliminator Match, meaning if Juice wins he gets a title shot.
Juice is one of only two people to pin Moxley in 2022. The other is CM Punk.
