If he'd turned his head a second earlier, another chance at an INT, hit him in the numbers, can't miss so many opportunities. But good is good enough on that one.

Steelers offence is actually decent when they stop running plays like they're in the 1960s. Pickett has a good completion percentage, Pickens is great, Friermuth is solid, it's really only Harris and Claypool being mid that is holding them back.

Of all of the Pickett's INTs(I've seen a majority of them, AFC East has not been kind) that mighta been the worst one.

Sucks to lose a 13-13 game, but they dropped 4 INT's, Canada pulled off the gas when the offense was rolling, and then Pickett makes a bad decision when they were within arm's reach. That one botch shouldn't have cost them the game.

And honestly, if Miami isn't gifted the INT on the PI, they likely kick on that 4th, and win anyway.

Kenny Two Gloves with the giant mitts nearly won the game but that last one I think was meant to be a throwaway but he underthrew it enough to give the Miami CB a chance at it. Just terrible.

But the flashes I'm seeing from Pickett do give me a bit of hope, he just needs to keep his head when he's put in those high tension endings. Was doing great until he got put in that 3rd and 16, then that final tried to force it into the end zone. Once Matt Canada is fired (preferably out of a cannon), might be able to make something of this offense.

I'll say this about Pickett in his defense, at least he's learning on the run. Desmond Ridder on the other hand has to sitback and watch his ex no.2 overall QB predecessor picked throw low completion percentages(Minus last week) and cause both Kyle Pitts and Drake London to be invisible. How are you down 3 scores and only are throwing the ball 13x? Much less your big two top targets, both former top 8 picks get little to nothing.

He reminds me quite a bit of Daniel Jones (particularly early in his career), does a few nice things but will then make a horrible error. Feels like he's had to adapt his game quite a lot in the pros, he used to hold the ball forever at Pitt but now in this offence he has to throw it a lot quicker and that's leading to him making some poor decisions.

That's because the division is utter shite with the Saints making Taysom Hill their premiere playmaker over Kamara, Carolina already fired their head coach and sold off their star RB and Tampa Bay is learning the dropoff between Arians to Bowles is legitimate. 

Mariota has some dirty photos of Arthur Smith to still get this pull. Ridder must be absolutely terrible in these Falcon practices because he was very good in the preseason and the scrimmage the Jets/Falcons had together. Good senior bowl too. That or he has a bet with Mike Vrabel his old buddy on which rookie QB starts 1st: Malik Willis or Desmond Ridder. That has to be it. 

I think they went over how Marriotta and Smith have history together or some shit. So that’s his boy. I also don’t think Ridders Benjamin Button ass is the answer either.
