Haven't the Ass Boys been harassing FTR like six months now? The match is well overdue. Also, did the Ass Boys and Acclaimed ever had a match? That whole thing kinda seemed to fizzle out.

I'm excited about Bryan Danielson and MJF, but if MJF makes Danielson run a freakin' gauntlet, with all his self-aware "I knOw I dO tHIs AlL ThE TImE LOL" shtick, then...I'll be mildly frustrated.

Hardcore match so weapon damage is magically turned down. And Penta or Matt was very out of position for that save stop.

as much as I'd like to believe she'd do great, IMO the women are booked extraordinarily not-well. It's the Britt Baker division and I don't know what it would take to get Creative to even take a chance at someone else.

She would come in hot then cool off lose the majority of her star power by being in this division. Then the drama in AEW will make her unhappy.

Yeah, if only it weren't a foregone conclusion. Hayter ain't losing her first title defense and Shida's not quite over enough to take a clean loss so shenanigans would have to be involved.

Real good to see Shida finally get to really go. One thing I was looking forward to with Hayter as champ was stiff matches. Britt does not have the experience to really take a lot of the really stiff shit safely.  Jamie does, and knows the Japanese stiff style as well.

FYI, that heavily tattooed guy who was part of the beatdown on Keith Lee last night, turned out to be former baseball player Granden Goetzman.

Jay Lethal trained him.

I'll have to check out Hayter/Shida.

Good match.  They did it Joshi style so Shida was hitting some really stiff stuff.  PPV quality match easily.
