Starks gained nothing by beating Jericho. So they have the match, Starks wins against all odds and instead of enjoying the rub they just beat him like a drum. I get that they want to drag this out, but I can't see the eventual pay-off being that much better than what we got. AEW needs to let situations breathe more, Starks beating Jericho should be a big moment and the story should be that Ricky is in for a big '23. Instead he's bogged down by another tired angle and it looks like they're going to put him in with Andretti when he should be breaking out on his own.

Also agree 100% with X-Zero that the Hangman/Mox dynamic just feels off. There's something to be said for nuanced story-telling, but Page is coming across as a heel using the situation to run his mouth knowing full well Moxley can't hit him. The whole thing with the constant updates has really felt off. They really should have kept it to two segments minimum - one where Page provides an update and illicit some sympathy so you get the fans hooked into seeing him return. Then another when he's cleared and he cuts a firey promo about wanting to get back on that horse and he wants Moxley. The way they've done it has just clouded the situation more than anything.
