I didn't really think of it before in wrestling but now that it is here, I'm surprised it took them this long. When MMA and boxing was doing it for so long, you'd think they'd have used that space before. That being said, I'm not a fan of it. I think it works in boxing and MMA because essentially it's real, you don't have to suspend your disbelief. Regardless of what crazy-looking sponsor is on the mat, if someone's being knocked out or choked out and there's high drama, it's pure.
In wrestling, we all know what's happening, but it lives and dies by the viewer being lost in the moment. I don't think having a huge Prime bottle in the middle of the ring during any of these moments will do anything but distract you from the moment. Imagine Austin in that Sharpshooter and that sponsor constantly being in shot? People say it isn't that deep, and I can honestly understand it if it wasn't so jarring (even just text!) but I can't help but feel it'll lessen a lot of moments, especially retrospectively.

I will give Endeavour and WWE a lot of credit with regards to the presentation. Although there is more, it is more subtle than the aggressive red everywhere that RAW particularly was at one point.
And the camera work since Dunn left has been so much better.
There was a continuous shot the other week during Dom v GUNTHER. They returned from break, and the camera came down the ramp giving us a perfectly framed shot of the ring with the audience to each side, it then slowly made its way around ring side. It was glorious for wrestling.

Losing Dunn made the merge worth it <.<
On the other side, someone just used the Undertaker's music in UFC, something few considered but all the old theme songs that WWE owned could have second lives now in UFC. Waiting to see who gets Austin's theme as it is coming. Foley's I imagine gets used as well. Maybe even the old DX HHH theme.
Still curious if a path opens for older MMA guys to convert to wrestling. Be a lot of work to transition, but fake fighting is a lot easier on the body than real fighting.

Always found it interesting all the tape libraries that they have on Fight Pass all have the original licensed music including some shows that used WWF music, remember an Extreme Challenge show on there from like 2001 that used Ministry of Darkness Taker theme

This may mean we see more performative elements in the UFC. It's recently been happening in Bodybuilding too, people building their own brand and following.
