Well, have a show booked for tonight, but not being promoted at all this morning. A lot of the AEW roster is pretty shook, and very likely tonight could see the show scraped and become a Jay Briscoe memorial show. Even if the whole show is not changed, likely to have a segment for him, even if it means scrapping planned matches to fit it in. This was the card. Weird to see them already booking Hangman vs Renee.

I hope the show carries on but the matches are a bit shorter and they focus on Jay and his family, and the history of The Briscoes. There’s a couple dream matches on this card that might be tough to re-book and Jay would want the show to go on.
I know FTR were just given time off but it would be great if they could show up in some capacity. The roar would be tremendous and they were The Briscoes last match (I think).
Anyway, no matter what happens tonight I’ll be watching with a six pack and tears in my eyes.

Kushida match was just advertised so that will still be on. I assume Bucks will still be on with that becoming a tribute match and Bucks doing all of the Briscoes spots.

Hard ask for a lot of the people on this show to go on like this. Jay was another guy that Brisceos elevated during the feud with Special K.

OC just earned a new fan tonight. My son hasn’t paid much attention recently but saw OC’s entrance and was like “who is this?”
Popped when he won. He has decided that OC is now his favourite since Cody Rhodes left (but he still wants to watch the Royal Rumble and see his comeback).

Unless people are always in character like MJF, they do not separate people from characters. So Mox and Renee will be recognized but MJF and Naomi may not.

He fights two singles matches a year they probably deleted his theme to save disk space or something.
