They randomly started using auto ref in the playoffs. I appreciate the fact that it's making things a bit faster but there is seemingly zero consistency when it's being used. 

I also didn't really understand how they gave that first down to MVS considering he retracted the ball. It's the first down line not the goalline, you don't get the reach in that situation.

I think the 1st down was just as obvious, I’d get if it was ambiguous, but a perfect shot down the line. Shoulda been both or neither.
