Everyone doubted Curry could win another chip after KD (Tyreek Hill) left. He went on a mission to prove the haters and nonbelievers wrong. Both Curry and Mahomes are generational talents who have overcome all odds to be DIFFERENT and AMAZING. Plus they have the same skin tone.

Everyone went into the NBA Finals saying the Boston Celtics (Philadelphia Eagles) were the best team. Going into that season, people didn’t think Tatum (Hurts) and Jalen Brown would not work. They had a rookie HC like Sirianni yet once they made the Finals, everyone had them to easily win. The depth was supposed to be too strong.

However, the Celtics (like the Eagles) who both wear green were not mentally ready for the big game(s). Curry finally won his Finals MVP and proved that he is indeed one of the greatest to ever lace them up. So will Mahomes. Warriors won in 6. The Chiefs will win by 6. The Eagles will fold in the second half because they tend to slow down then and like they did the last time they won a SB, KC will make an improbable comeback and be crowned the champions.

Final score: Chiefs to win 34-28.

Yup but the issue is he's going to year 4 of his rookie deal so you're going to have to have the dreaded conversation on how much you pay him. He's had 1 excellent year and 1 solid year so he won't break bank but inflation and everything, he will want some portion of the cap.

I’m not sure it’s accurate to say either are comprised of free agents. 35 members of the Chiefs roster were drafted including most of the stars, and then a few more were traded for (Clark, Brown, Toney). Joe Thuney is probably the biggest free agent on the Chiefs roster. It’s be practically impossible to argue that the Chiefs built a super team through free agency.

I had such a great time yesterday, I could tell this thread was going to be incredibly annoying so I learned my lesson from 53 and just logged off and put my phone away. Dual screening has become so routine that shutting out all the noise and being absorbed by the game was really liberating.

It was such a fantastic contest, Mahomes and Hurts were absolutely locked in, both played about as close to perfect as you can get. The two major storylines for me were the Chiefs running game actually outperforming the Eagles (I won my big money $2 bet on Pacheco hitting his over :lol: but didn't see Sanders & Gainwell being stuffed as much as they were) and the KC o-line completely stonewalling the Eagles pass rush (Reid & Bienemy absolutely destroyed Gannon, apart from a couple of good tackles by CJGJ the Philly defence literally barely made a play).

Rihanna was great, Olsen & Burkhardt had a great call, and there were numerous truly wow plays (Hurts throw to Goedert was my pick of the bunch). Definitely one of the great Super Bowls and a privilege to see Patrick Mahomes staking a strong claim to being the best of all time.

I disagree with both premises. Eagles were aggressive on trade market but didn’t lose anything huge for great results, Chiefs had to rely on a roster that was 20% rookies because of their top heavy pay structure to a handful of All Pro talents. Both got good value in free agency (Reddick and Bradberry for Philly, Reid, MVS and JuJu for KC)
