Well you guys called the Gunns winning the tag belts. Still, not surprised at all with the reaction because you've disrupted the momentum of arguably the hottest act in the company for an underneath act. In a division that's already struggled to live up to expectations, it's a bitter pill to swallow and while they may recover it remains to be seen and for now it appears they've put a glass ceiling on that division.

Another impressive showing from Takeshita. He's still very raw so he'll need to be booked smartly so he can hone his craft but he has the size and athleticism to make something of himself. If he can continue to do things to connect with the crowd like the Eddie tribute, that will go a long way as well.

Sublime performance from Fox but gee I don't know about this division. Maybe the Elite are trying to thin out the roster considering the crazy amount of risks you have to take in order to be competitive? I'd be worried if I was in that 80%.

I think a lot of the AEW fans weren't happy because they are to use to being sent home happy. I think the win should have been better for the guns. New champions just kind of walked away instead of getting to enjoy their moment. Either should have let the acclaim roll out the ring or had the firm if still a thing beat the acclaim up and let the Gunns celebrate.

Rock was one of the biggest faces in the attitude era and most of his reigns were about 40 days.

Always dangerous to compare wrestlers to The Rock, especially with the talent he had around him.

Otherwise I agree, the production did both teams dirty and they really should have cut to black sooner than they did.

In this case I think it fits. Mainly his talking sold his matches and probably the most popular thing at his time.

I fully expect The Gunns to only hold the titles until Revolution. FTR is gonna come back and take em, grant Acclaimed their rematch, then see what happens from there.

Well, there's not that many guys who are as charismatic, have the instincts or the talent around them like The Rock did.

It'd be interesting to see how fans would take to that scenario. FTR certainly have the respect but I don't think they've ever had the momentum of the Acclaimed at least on AEW television. That would be a weird dynamic as well and I'm not sure if they would have the same interest as a refreshed and recharged FTR looking to stop the Acclaimed's momentum.

It's going to be a tough test for everyone.
