WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been suspended bey WWE after being accused of rape. WWE issued the following statement:

"WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended."

Twitter user @missgucciwitch recently took to Twitter and accused Enzo of raping her back in October of 2017. She alleges that Twitter user @toopoor_ (a woman named Layla Shapiro) and designer Tyler Grosso were involved. You can see her tweets in the link..

A Twitter user by the name of @missgucciwitch (aka Philomena) has accused WWE Superstar and current Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore of rape.


The story is allegedly connected to Tyler Grosso, a former member of the infamous hip hop collective A$AP Mob and self-proclaimed “fashion mogul”, who has been accused by numerous individuals of running a scam operation disguised as a clothing brand. Philomena responded to one of Grosso’s recent tweets claiming, “You set up girls to get raped by your WWE friends aka [Enzo Amore].”

She later posted the full story including a direct message conversation with another Twitter user who, so far as we know, wasn’t involved with the incident in any way. The DMs are featured below, edited for clarity:

“Tyler and TOOPOOR invited me to their friend’s hotel to hang out with their friend and I went. Basically they got me so fucked up (coke, meth, weed) I went into psychosis. The guy told TOOPOOR and Tyler that he was gonna rape me and at first they were like “please don’t like you really shouldn’t” but then they gave up and were like “okay have fun”. TOOPOOR kissed me on the cheek and they left me there with [him]. It was such a brutal rape like I’m still so fucked up from it I haven’t had sex since October which is when it happened. I’m in the process of pressing charges”

In a follow-up message she clarified, “The guy who raped me is a famous WWE wrestler. @real1” which of course is the official Twitter handle of Enzo Amore.

The “TOOPOOR” that Philomena refers to is another Twitter user by the handle of @toopoor_, who also happens to have a clothing brand that’s come under fire for being a potential scam. She and Grosso have collaborated in the past and have posted several photos together on social media, including at WWE events.

Philomena posted the following in a separate note on her Twitter timeline:

“The original question TOOPOOR asked me was if I would suck Enzo’s dick. I said possibly but if I wasn’t down she said we could all just hang out. Then they got me way fucked up and they left knowing what was about to happen. When Enzo the WWE guy [started]coming on to me I was passed out on the couch. I said “I want to get to know you first before doing anything.” He replied,” Bitch I have one million followers on Instagram… You should be begging for this dick.” And then he restrained me and it happened. I never would be this dramatic about something like this but I want you all to know that I would’ve left if I could. I was in psychosis – I had no idea what was going on. I remember bits and pieces and I have constant flashbacks… My mental issues have been the worst ever and I suffer from major PTSD from it.”

WWE released a statement to ESPN.com on Monday afternoon confirming that Enzo has been suspended as they look into the matter.

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.”

Update: Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com is reporting that the alleged victim filed a report with the Phoenix Police Department on October 19, 2017 and is currently waiting for a copy of the police report for more information

"Phoenix PD on Enzo Amore allegations: "On Monday, October 23, 2017, at around 2:30pm, Phoenix Police responded to a local hospital for a call of a sexual assault that had reportedly occurred on October 19, 2017 at 401 West Clarendon Avenue. This case is under investigation."

Even if Enzo is clear, much like with Swann, how can you salvage them as personalities given both are supposed to be fan favorites? They've lost their appeal and essential worth to the company.

Swann's isn't as bad as Amore who already was loathed in the locker room. It would be better if Enzo didn't hop on the tour bus again for his sake, he's probably tarnished this company many times in plenty of wrestlers eyes.

Why not just punish him by putting him in a hell in a cell with Lesnar and have it as a shoot? They tell brock to go all out as his punishment?

Strike 1: Bringing people backstage and in the locker room, who then would take photo and video of the wrestlers.

Strike 2: Talking about the business on the phone while gloating about his money on a tour bus. This led to Roman Reigns kicking him off said bus.

He then didn’t tell WWE about the allegation when he knew about them the entire time. and that right there is Strike 3.

From what I understand he violated a clause or two in his contract by not telling them about the investigation and that's what led to his release.

As far as Enzo goes. I never understood how he got over.  Guilty or innocent he's now damaged goods. If guilty I hope his career is over.  If innocent there are some things you just can't escape.  I don't think he can regain the fame or be as over as he was.

I stand with women who are willing to come forward, especially in a situation where she’s opening herself up to the scorn of the hyper-masculine online wrestling fans.

Besides that, actually filing a police report vs. just making accusations after the fact shows a level of severity rarely seen when dealing with public figures.
