I don’t see the harm in Lesnar VS Omos

Omos either gets a shock win or Lesnar gets a clean win that isn’t going to upset any fans.



Gunther probably isn’t dropping the IC title any time soon and I doubt they’d give Lesnar the win over Gunther. I don’t care about Lashley VS Lesnar again

Nor Lashley VS Wyatt which is looking like a disaster already, if LA Knight couldn’t get Wyatt’s shenanigans over with his promo skills..Lashley has no chance.

Lesner vs Omos will be a short match of Brock just manhandling a giant. Good match for Brock if they have no real story for him.

Trish, Lita and Becky vs Damage CTL is a great match too add as well. Sure Trish and Lita are not at their peak, but this is just fan service.  Not gonna complain whenever they get Trish and Lita to show up as we likely will not get too many more matches from either.

Reports are HHH plans to make a strong card, without worrying who is and is not on it. So a whole lot of people will be left off and no plans to do matches just to shove in as many people as possible like a battle royal or multi-man matches that make no sense.

I know Ronda/Shayna are rumoured for the belts but with the whole Team Bextreme vs Damage Ctrl feud and Bayley looking like she’s without a match again, I think the Six Woman Tag is still likely but we get a Tag Team Turmoil as well.

All of a sudden now we have quite a few pairings in Nikki/Candice, Nattie/Tegan, Liv/Raquel and Carmella/Chelsea potentially too. So I see either Ronda/Shayna buzzing the gauntlet or they’re spoiler to Liv/Raquel at the final hurdle.

Two women’s matches per night? Although rumours that Trips wants a skinner card as well?

Yeah sounds like nothing like a tag gauntlet or four man tag will be on the card. The girls just get screwed.

Miz hosting means Miz TV is an easy and prime location to set up Wrestlemania matches.

Say, only need to have him host the new tag champs and Trish, Damage CTRL come out and bang match is set. Should be interesting to get Trish involved on the mike and help inject a much needed extra something to the Becky/Bayley feud.

OK, so they finally have a match on the WrestleMania card I'm interested in... Damage CTRL vs. Becky & Legends.

There’s a lot of singles matches on this card. Unless Gunther’s defence becomes multi man? (Ladder?!) Still leaves a lot of names off, suppose they could do a men’s and women’s multi team tag titles number one contenders on either nights?

I think 14 matches over 2 nights would be just fine.

Roman vs Cody
I'm only interested because my son loves Cody Rhodes and since he's probably winning the title that night, it's gonna be extra special for him. I'm excited for him to experience that. Otherwise I don't care.

Charlotte vs Ripley
If Charlotte wins this match I might actually try and kill someone at WWE. I don't know who. More important the better, but I'll fucking choke someone out in catering I don't care. The match should be good and the result will be even better. Long live Mami.

Bianca vs Asuka
The match itself should be good and if I'm being realistic, it's the one I'm most looking forward to at the moment. I hope Asuka wins.

Brock vs Omos
I hate everything about this.

Gunther vs whoever wins Friday
I like Gunther so I just hope they book a good opponent. Either Drew or Sheamus. They would put up a good fight and you could believe either of them could beat Gunther. LA Knight would be a fun choice but there's zero chance he hands Gunther his first loss in how long? So yeah.

Theory vs Cena
Is there any chance Cena wins and stays in WWE for a bit? I don't see it. So we know who is going over. The match might still be good though.

Rollins vs Logan
I'm annoyed with myself for actually looking forward to this match. I fucking hate Logan Paul. He's good though. The fucking jerk.

Damage CTRL vs Man, Myth, Legend (patent pending)
This should be a fun fight. Bayley & Co. should go over, but they won't. This has feel good legend win written all over it. I'll still check it out though.

Dominik vs Rey
I hope Rey can put on a decent match and make his kid look like a star, but I'm worried his old man bones will make for a subpar match with Dominik unable to carry him. Lots of outside interference will probably help the situation though. Guess we will see.

Edge vs Finn
Make it a street fight or HIAC or something crazy and sign me the fuck up. Brood Edge vs The Demon please. Just no bullshit endings like a turnbuckle snapping. GOD I'M STILL MAD ABOUT THAT.

So overall I'm meh on most of the show, or hate what they have given us, while being high on 2 or 3 matches. Sounds about right for Wrestlemania these days. You feel meh going in, then it either greatly exceeds expectations or is exactly what you expect and you wonder why you bothered. Hoping for the former, like last year was. Not holding my breath though.

The Usos/KO/Sami should be the main event on night 1. The Bloodline has been on a historic run & should be rewarded for its greatness.

I had no idea that was a thing. It isn't mentioned anywhere I looked at matches for WM. Is it official or just speculated? Either way, holy shit that's bad.

I think Rhea closes Night 1 beating Charlotte and Cody closes Night 2 beating Roman. Big "changing of the guard" vibes going into post-Mania.

But I don't disagree. I think Sami & KO winning the tag titles on Night 1 would be the better move, but either way I'd be fine with it.

Lashley/Wyatt hasn’t been announced yet but they’ve been feuding since EC. It’s all but official and being a huge fan of Lashley, I’m not too happy. Rumor is Lesnar turned down the Wyatt match for Mania.

I feel bad for Lashley. Bobby has been on the best run of his career & has to be saddled with bullshit.

If they wanted to work in multi-person matches they could have Ronda and Shayna run a gauntlet of tag teams.

I think they are getting left off. One on one fight would be the sort of short match they do not want.

That said, give them 15 minutes and let them do a catch match, has potential to be one of the best catch matches in the US in a long time given both were trained heavily in catch for MMA. Have Ronda work face, and Shayna will carry her through an amazing match.

Where’s this Ronda/Shayna match appearing from? Are we expecting one to turn on the other soon? Ronda’s been very vocal about wanting a tag run.

I just remembered the segment where Ronda returned. Nattie was provoking Shayna, and Shayna was mouthing off like "I don't need Ronda" or something. Cue Ronda's music, they awkwardly look at each other before teaming to attack Nattie.

I took that as planting the seeds for a feud but I've not followed what they've done since then.

Seth’s eaten too many losses in the last couple of years is my main objection. Logan’s going to be a fantastic heel but how much longer can Seth keep losing?

I think you keep his brother for the rematch when Logan gets a win back.

Two months ago I was the only vocal Cody hater on the board, but I have sinced changed my tune. I acknowledge The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, but I also accept Cody Rhodes as his potential successor. It is the right time and the right place.

A lot of people on social media aren't necessarily anti-Cody, but very pro-Sami. It would be hard to sit and watch Elimination Chamber and not think Sami should be the one to defeat Reigns.

Sami needed a yes movement.

Absolutely. It’s been amazing. But they booked the perfect ending at EC and blew it.

As far as I can remember the only thing nice I’ve said about Cody is that I’m glad he found his place and is getting the reactions he wanted. Also my son likes him so that is fun for me to experience.

Other than that I’ve just been keeping my mouth shut. I think the whole thing is stupid and doesn’t make sense. Cody missed too much time in the ring to look like an actual threat to Roman and the guy that should have known his every weakness and had the power of his hometown behind him should have won. But the WWE only gets long-term booking right like once every 5 years so whatever. I’m over it.
