Lazard is the man , he’s not a #1 or probably #2 but he’s such an easy dude to root for and the consummate professional. Also the best blocking receiver in the league. I don’t think he is going to live up to any contract he signs but give me an Allen Lazard in my receiving corps every year all year.

Also call me crazy but the fact the Jets are working towards signing Rodgers best friends only gives the Packers more leverage in negotiations. They aren’t going to do all this and just walk away from Rodgers.

I’m just jealous the Packers have somewhat of a plan for Rodgers successor in Jordan Love. Meanwhile, the Saints big idea to succeed Brees was Jamies fucking Winston. Fuck me. Packers about to have their 3rd straight HOF QB.

BIG DOG is another easy dude to root for, essentially an extra offensive linemen at this point and by most accounts - one of the best locker room guys you can ask for. Doing all this solely to appease a player not even on your roster is stupid but both guys are people you should be happy to have on your roster in most circumstances.

Aaron Rodgers has the Jets by the balls right now.

Michael Thomas returning to the Saints on a newly worked 1 year contract; basically agreeing to make less to stay here. This is a make or break year for Thomas.

I don't blame Rodgers for any of this outside of being so non-committal to future teammates, if he's allowed to call shotgun of what he wants to do, he's using the power he didn't always get in GB to get it his way. It's more on Douglas and Co. that they have gotten to the point where they have to do everything humanly possible to accommodate him.

I just want to see this compensation. 2nd round is fair and a future pick too, if you want to trade down from 13 to 15(GB) as a cherry on top, fine(It's equivalent of a late 3). Anything more and I will be critical.

Steelers sign Nate Herbig who was a solid guard for NYJ in relief, happy he got a good deal. He was a backup in Philly and was let go to NYJ as a make good deal between Douglas & Roseman. Good move by Pittsburgh.

Iffy pass protector, curious if the QB turmoil hurt him but he is a nasty mauler of a run guard. Hall or Bam Knight would run rightside behind Herbig often. Good move RagnarokMike.

Daniels & Herbig is a nice guard duo.

Read reports that Jets offer Jake Brendal more money but he wanted to stay with the Niners which he resign a four years deal good I was worried about that a bit now hopefully they find a RT next

Raiders got 12 draft picks this year now so it makes sense. They’re going to let McDaniels put together his kind of team. Waller has been an injury prone mess so I understand them getting rid of him for a draft pick. I like it for both teams honestly.

I'm absolutely stoked with that Waller trade, it's a playmaking solution that I hadn't even considered but could turn out to be dynamite. We just have to hope that he can stay on the field.

He felt this way about Christian Watson heading in but by the end of the year, he was relying heavily on him. Garrett Wilson is a better version of that and also is the reigning Off. Rookie of the Year. 

He also gets open, ALOT. Him and Elijah Moore in the slot, if you aren't throwing to them then it's on you. 

I still have questions on the Jets OLine TBH, Jets need to draft hard to get 1-2 guys IMHO. Duane Brown is 38 and Mehki Becton has like 10 snaps in 2 years. Max Mitchell also lost his year due to a blood clot. Laken Tomlinson was a bust year 1 and AVT as good as he is is recovering off a season ender and the Jets need to find a long term center with McGovern still a FA.

Wilson is clearly the best player out of all these guys. If you think that he's going to be phased out for a bunch of 600 yard role players then there's not much I can tell you - you've already been worked by the narrative.

Breece Hall when he's healthy is going to be the workhorse albeit they may watch snaps off an ACL and Rodgers is going to rely heavily on him if anything. Him, Michael Carter and Bam Knight are a nice 1-2-3 punch, especially if opposing teams can't stack upfront.

Hall was really good as a catching back too, he will not be phased out. If he and Garrett Wilson are indeed phased out, Nathaniel Hackett will be run out of town quicker than he was in Denver.

I will give Kid this though, the Mercedes Lewis one doesn't make sense though. Cobb will replace Berrios if signed as a special team player who can come in for emergency. CJ Uzomah fits the roll already of blocking TE who is a great locker room guy who can catch here & there. Conklin is the primary receiving TE and Jeremy Ruckert the 3rd rounder from OSU is the project. 

Lewis would be smart to jump on the Vegas gig if it's available even if the Raiders may be tempted to draft a TE post Waller.
