It's cool to see Taya Valkyrie in AEW, but I do kinda worry, they'll use her for a month and then she'll disappear, like a lot of AEW's signings.

That is the pain when a favorite female wrestler appears in AEW. Hype about them appearing, two rampages, a squash on Dynamite, a lost to Jade on Dynamite or Rampage, and then not seen on Dynamite for 6 months.

She gets her cash either way. If she is not on TV or Dark, she is back on the indy shows she would be doing before anyway.  Given WWE and Impact are not interested in her, why not take Tony's cash.

Tony did sign her, so this is not a per appearance thing.

Also with all this hype, Jade could be passing the title finally.

Does Impact Wrestling not want her though?

Considering she is/was one-third of the knockouts tag team champions, I'd argue Impact is/was very interested in her. I would assume Taya leaving was her decision and not Impact deciding they don't want her anymore. Having said that, you are right she'll (hopefully) get the big payday now, which is awesome, however, as a fan of hers I would obviously want her to be used on TV as much as possible.

Edit: It'll be interesting to see how things go over the next couple of weeks, I already assumed that the Death Dollz would be losing the knockouts tag team championships to The Coven, but we'll see if Taya drops the MLW women's featherweight championship to Billie Starkz or not as well.

Being the biggest girl outside of Nyla they have now, I assume she will be getting used in the TBS division. May not be on the main show, but AEW have four more shows now to put content on.

Didn't one of the lesser pillars pretty much point out the none Dynamite shows are lesser shows that even they don't want to do.

For Taya it was either work AEW and indy shows, or just work indy shows.  Not sure why people are upset that she is here, and not just working shows without television.   She could have stayed in Impact, but they only worked her 18 times in the past year.  

I thought the main event would have been better than it was. It felt a little disjointed at times and there were apparently rules, yet they were only sporadically enforced. They should have let everyone have at it and work a tornado.

House of Black is easily one of the best stables in both AEW and WWE. I'd have them on my wish list if I were Hunter, including Julia Hart.

The pillars promos were good.. but these guys are boys including MJF, and I'd think if they were better options, not one of them would ever be in the conversation.

Triple threat trios matches normally suck. Just too much going on.

You know damn well HHH wants House of Black. It is the perfect gimmick to replace the supernatural stuff that the Fiend or Undertaker used to bring. I assume at this point Julia goes where they go. All of them sound protective of her, and she is grateful they got her out the cheerleader gimmick she hated and are there for her. She is still only 21, so both Tony and HHH will likely want to make her a long term investment.

That said, one thing Black has that WWE will not give him is creative control. And not sure he will go back without it. Also he got a lot of other things going on like the House of Black dojo he would have to give up in WWE. But HHH aiming for them, means he can leverage raises for all four.

I think too you can start to see who leaving in a few months. Guys who not been on TV in months are likely out. Miro being the most notable. Mercedes Martinez as well.

People are always going on about Impact's women's division being THE BEST IN THE UNIVERSE, but those women just can't wait to get out of there! 😅

Being the best division doesn't equal being the best paid.

Because they get paid the least of the big three feds. Even if Taya is not working as much in AEW she got a raise and can still work indy shows for extra cash.

But Tony has her fighting tonight, so it looks like he will be using her. And with the Canadian tours she should be front and center.

Also Sarah Stock (AKA Sarita) is a coach in AEW now, considering she's from Winnipeg, it would have been cool if she had Nicole Matthews spot last night.

She was introduced to the live crowd. She does not really wrestle anymore.

Not upset she in AEW more upset that Tony doesn't know what to do with women shortly after he gets them. Remember the last big name that was going to be the one to dethrone Jade. Athena was finally going to be free and used right. Hasn't been on tv(Dynamite or Rampage) this year.

Athena is Ring of Honor now and does Dark matches for the live crowds.  She got more AEW matches this year than Taya got from Impact last year.

Stu Grayson is back, Tony resigned him after his performance.

Rewatching the other three pillars promos and they all had their ups and down.

Jungle Boy the one I thought I forgot. I remember someone downing the grinding on other shows. Which was a good point but he didn't put his own spin on it. Also sounds like something a heelish person would say complaining about booking so thought Sammy said it.

Sammy should have had the weakest promo on paper but delivered it the best. A very strong babyface promo even though he is a heel.

Darby had the material and the fans support but he could have made a few delivery changes to make it flow better. Because he shouldn't have said I quit when I wasn't happy then talk about people who want to quit when they aren't happy.

I believe each showed some promise for the future. And enjoyed it more then another 20 minute match.
