For sure buying/playing:

Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot(Completely forgot about this game, so happy it is finally getting released. Still have a great deal on Target essentially getting this for $40. Played on a little bit of the other AdvancedWars title, Days of Ruin but this is a brand new gaming series for me. Might not play this right away with the games I am juggling but maybe a Summer playthrough?)

Mega Man Battle Network Collection(I also got this one from Target for $40, have always been curious to jump into this series as well)

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly(Free via Game Pass, going to be my visual novel jam of April. Really enjoyed my playthrough of the 1st one last August, even got all the achievements)


The Last Case of Benedict Fox(Another free via game pass, the trailers just make this game look really good. Looks like a fun little Indie Metroidvania, comes out at end of April)

Down the road:

Star Wars: Jedi Survivor(For sure the big title of the month for most, have yet to finish the 1st one and by the time it arrives, will be occupied by so many other games. Will wait for price drop)

TRON Identity(Could be a very good visual novel set in Disney's TRON, might see how this reviews first before jumping in)


Really good month honestly, thought it would be the calm before May & June's storm of nonstop big blockbuster hits but honestly this is shaping up to be a terrific month.

Two more days until I get to play Dredge finally.

Looks so damn good.

My expectation is that Advance Wars will be one of those rare Nintendo games to wind up in bargain bins, so I'm going to take my chances and wait until half-yearly/Xmas sales before I strike. I also want to hear reviews as well because if I can just play the GBA games and have a better experience I'll stick with that.

Speaking of Nintendo tax, I'm still holding out for Tears of the Kingdom. I know that's going to be a Day 1 purchase for me and when it does come out I'll need a weekend with it. I still need to go back and play Breath of the Wild at some point. I bought it for the Wii U as my swansong to the system, really enjoyed my time with it but that was over six years ago. This time six years ago, I was gearing up for Persona 5 and putting everything on hold to beat Blindy to the platinum. :lol:

I'll get Advance Wars eventually but I'm in no rush.

When Jedi Survivor goes on PS+, I'll definitely play it. I haven't liked Star Wars for years, but I got the previous game cheap and loved it!
