As well they should have. I will never understand why Cody saw something in QT. The guy is probably a nice dude, but he has "hide in the shadows and train wrestlers" written all over him.

This is why guys like Rocky Romero and Stevie Richards are so beloved and guys like QT aren't. They knew their role. QT thought he would become a free agent and win a world title somewhere. At least that was the vibe I got anyway. 

Being said the CMLL deal is any time AEW uses CMLL talent, they cannot use any other Mexican talent at all. So no Penta, Fenix. Kommander, or any other guys that came from Mexico can be used on the same shows.

Doesn’t sound like RVD is going anywhere anytime soon, which I am fine with. He can still go as long as he is used sparingly. Andrew Zarian says with a Collision episode happening on 4/20 expect to see him there, and even hinted that AEW might announce a PPV soon that would happen the following night.

Someone on reddit already pointed out that Komander worked a show with the CMLL guys, so looking like this story is BS, or not entirely true at the very least.

It also raises some questions. I noted in post around TK's booking. If Gabbi is pushed in the women's division, it's not earned. Tyler Reks hasn't been relevant for 10 years, if he was relevant at all. And it comes at the expense of some hard working girls who are criminaly under utilised, Brit being a great example.

I only remember Tyler Reks for strip dancing with Curt Hawkins/Brian Myers and their hair. I just think Tuft waited too long, it's like if Ryback wanted to come back to wrestling full time. The iron has long cooled off and in Reeves case, he's not worth it.

Ryback at least can claim to being a champion in WWE and IIRC, main eventing or at least challenging for the WWE Championship a number of times.

Reks on the other hand was working a show that forgot it was meant to be a game show for rookies.

I think we need to just stop posting Meltzer stuff until further notice. “What is up with Dave Meltzer?” is the top post on wreddit right now with a list of his huge fuck ups this week.

Believe so. Feeling I get is this is the end of his obligations to the fed. He may come back from time to time, but will not be hanging around in the back week in and week out anymore.  Given he was brought in for a non-wrestling role, no one can really complain if he just wants to sit home now.  He is 64 and almost at legit US retirement age.
