Hollywood.

It's a little part of the grand metropolis, that is Los Angeles.  It stretches about 4 miles long, on the northwestern side of the city.

But in that little stretch, of a city that stretches for about 70 miles the long way, many superstars were made there.

But for this weekend, the perimeter of Hollywood will stretch some 10 miles southwest, to the community of Inglewood.  Home to one of the most modern new stadiums in the world, SoFi Stadium.  And it is there, where new superstars will be made.  And Superstars will rise to immortality.

And in a city where some of the greatest stories were ever made, one of WWE's greatest stories is about to write its final chapter.

For two and a half years, The Bloodline have ruled WWE with an iron fist.  And this weekend, it could all come crumbling down.

For the Usos, their reign as the longest reigning Tag Team Champions of all time, could come to an end, at the hands of two former enemies, now friends.  It's Blood Brothers, versus Brothers In Arms.

And for the Tribal Chief, he faces a nightmare.  Literally.  Will the final moment of WrestleMania be Roman Reigns channeling his inner Kratos, by maintaining his hold on the infinity belts?  Or can Cody Rhodes claim the title as Head of the Table, turn nightmares into dreams, dreams into reality, and write the ultimate Hollywood ending?

It's the biggest weekend of the year for the industry.

The film industry has the Oscars.  The wrestling industry has WrestleMania.

How fitting that this year, they both happen in the same city.

The City of the Stars.

Hollywood.

People have such fluid definitions of main events. There has been confusion from before there were two nights. Back when there was the first brand split, and the rumble winner didn't end up fighting in the main event, people would say their match was also a main event. 

I'd say that both the tag title matches and the WWE championship matches are main events.

Starting with next year's Royal Rumble, they'll need to change the verbiage for the stips.

Instead of saying the winners will main event WrestleMania, just say the winners will earn World's Championship matches for WrestleMania.

If the tag titles main event, I think it’s great. We’ve had the first women’s main event already, and it’s long been said WWE doesn’t care about tag team wrestling. This is the first time since the TLC days that tag team wrestling has been this important and featured.

I think every match is a main event in its own way ✨

But they also say that they main event the show.  But there are tons of times, when that wasn't the case.

The last match is the main event. This is just the closing of the preshow.
