Nobody! I haven't watched a Stardom show in my life. :lol: I've been meaning to watch this one show from 2021 since it aired but haven't gotten around to it. I will be watching this, if only for Giula and Tam Nakano.

Who else should I keep an eye on papaya? After a disappointing Night 2, maybe we can make Queendom the new PW Wrestlemania.

I've only seen a couple of shows and they were a while ago. I always get tempted to watch more shows, but then I accidentally see the results and then just...don't bother.

I'll always support Saya Iida though!

The press conference was pretty nice with the Giulia/Tam Feuds and Saya/Mina feuds heating up.

TJPW is another amazing women's fed for people looking for alternative women's stuff. They crossover with AEW. Stardom crossing over is in the works too but no one appeared yet.

Has there been any hype for Mercedes' defence? The storyline post Battle in the Valley seemed to be between her and AZM but she's not even confirmed to be in the match yet?

Not western styled hype. She basically just wants to their best from what I seen. I like casually follow video twitter though.

Oh I see, it's Mercedes vs AZM vs Hazuki at the NJPW show this weekend, and then the winner of that match vs Mayu at this Stardom show (not another triple threat) a couple of weeks later - that makes more sense.

I must have some form of wrestling card dyslexia.  :lol: That was my second shot at writing that match out, the first time I read it as a Fatal Four-Way.

No problem! I don't think they have done a particularly good job of advertising/providing context around the matches for people who are tuning in because of Mercedes - I had to go searching through a few other forums reading people discussing it before I worked out what was going on.

The general consensus seems to be that Hazuki is in the triple threat to eat the pin because Stardom don't want AZM to lose as she's their (long reigning) High Speed champion. Mercedes then goes on to face Mayu in that dream match, and AZM becomes Mei Suruga's mystery partner in that tag match. 

Mercedes Moné vs Mayu Iwatani locked in now.

Mone's new finisher can be hit or miss, but when done right, is very cool.

I wonder why Mercedes is burying Mayu so hard. Does she do that to everyone or is there some specific beef?

Likely to hype up the feud and so people who do not know Mayu will now. And so she can work as a heel despite fans wanting to treat her as a face.

But she has been hyping this up most of the month super hard.

Mercedes debuted in Stardom. What gets interesting is this was not booked and was penciled in day as Mercedes thought it would help build her upcoming match with Mayu and did it as a freebie that did not count toward her appearances. Also the Mayu match is her last planned one, but Giulia is calling her out now for a match and it seems Mercedes is having a lot of fun in Japan, and being paid very well to do so. People assume she will do "one more match" after her loose contract ends.

Also if she does not stay in Stardom, a run in TJPW may happen as she posted a bunch with those girls as well.

Hope she stays more.  From her pics she has been hanging out in the dojos a bit and if she can fully get the style down, tons of amazing matches in Stardom to be had.  And really not much back here for her.  AEW basically, and while she fits in the Outsiders, she will likely not get many matches.  Also her style would have to change again as AEW girls will not take the current level of stiffness or her new finisher.

Yea, I believe I read somewhere (maybe diva dirt), that they were looking to extend Mercedes time in Japan, so hopefully that'll be true.

She's totally gonna take forever to pin her with her finger when the match happens.

The match is tomorrow! Then we will find out if Mayu really sucks or not.
