Tickets on sale. Does not appear the US scalping system is in play over there as people on my twitter easily got floor and frontrowish tier seats easily. Means number sold should be the number trying to attend.

People complaining that ticketmaster picks your seat basically and you can pick expensive seats or sit way in the back with no in between or picking areas.   Also the usual site errors are in play.

Sounds like the pre sale sold out in about 3 hrs. I am seeing people on twitter saying they didn’t get tickets. Some are blaming ticketmaster but aside from the weird seat selection it doesn’t seem like the site was an issue and it’s sold out. We will probably hear this afternoon what went down.

Likely not even a sellout but a LONG standing problem with ticketmaster. Usually just restart the order repeatedly and eventually you get through the errors to get tickets. But often if the sites tries to call up seats for a section, and there are none, it sometimes just reports the event is sold out before checking other areas.

Yup. 35k in just 6 hours. They have already almost doubled their previous attendance record (a bit over 20k) and will shatter WCW’s record of 40k.

I will be stunned if they hit 90k but at this rate, 60-70k doesn’t seem that ridiculous anymore. This is going to be an unreal show. I can’t wait.

I think people are forgetting what a massive fanbase wrestling has in the UK. Plus there will be others coming from different countries to go because it's much cheaper to travel in Europe for a show. Before everyone gets really hyped, Ticketmaster UK does allow buying for resale on the site. And given people all day said none of the midrange seats could be bought, likely a whole lot of bot sales. Friday when the rest of the tickets go on sale, a serious chunk of tickets bought will simply be relisted and appear as normal tickets, with a slightly higher price.

Tickets have started to appears on secondary sites as well already.

So tickets were sold, but no one knows the split between people who bought for profit, or to attend. And Ticketmaster loves to make this number extremely hard to figure out.

Scalping for a stadium show is crazy though.

Bots are gonna bot. We have the same issue in Canada and it didn’t stop the Canadian shows from selling out (or coming close). And as the show grows closer those prices will come down and tickets will find their way to the people that want to attend. Yeah the early numbers are skewed but the attendance should still be up there.

Not if you focused on the inner tiers buying during presale, then reselling during general sales when the tiers have no first sale tickets left. And this lines up with people claiming they could get floor or 3rd tier, nothing in between.

3rd tier scalping is silly, but some already doing it too.

Yeah, normally happens.  Stadiums are weird if people pack them, then do not show, as you will notice that shit if scalpers are left holding the bag.  

Hopefully it does get packed.  Nothing crazier than a packed stadium.  And he even hits 60k I think the show will look amazing on TV.

Awesome news, I wasn't entirely sold on the pre-registrations numbers but clearly they were legitimate. Hopefully it breaks the 50K barrier in the coming days.

Obviously this will change when GP tickets go on sale, but Meltzer tracks scalper/third party tickets and this tweet says a lot. So far almost none of the pre-sale tickets are being resold. That’s massive.

Ticketmaster allows you to resell your tickets at a higher price right on their site that they then list with the first sale tickets. Using external sites is really not done much these days post Live Nation merge.

Need to wait for the general sale to relist.  And once that happens it is very, very hard to track, as Ticketmaster gets a cut of the resale profit via the high service fees so they encourage reselling as that means they get paid twice.
