Looking at the gates for ALL IN, Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble, etc it certainly blows the theory that " no one watches wrestling anymore " out of the water. It's a boom period, just not one we we're expecting. All the idiots who expected the "next boom period" to be look like the Attitude Era were idiots after all. Every boom period is going to be different from the last, the only familiarity is business being good across the whole industry.

So Meltzer is reporting the resale amount for All In is 1.35%. This is unheard of. Looks like those who bought tickets are holding them.
Also being reported Ospreay is confirmed for the show which should shock absolutely no one.

AEW is in such a weird place at the moment. They’re going to basically sell out Wembley, or come as close as WWE ever could to doing so. But that’s set against the backdrop of declining ratings, which are semi-excusable if you take cord cutting into account, and declined attendances on the whole. Tony has got to get braver with his scheduling and run in some new places. Stop running Chicago 15 times a year. I think they’re over-meeting demand in some areas and failing to meet potential demand in others.

The problem with the ratings is, it’s having an opposite affect on WWE who are only getting stronger ratings. If your opposition is increasing ratings, you don’t want to be the guy sitting around saying “well.. cable is on a decline.”

This has been the conversation for the last year. Rewind the clock and WWE has remained very consistent with their numbers over the last few years, while AEW has/had seen quite substantial peaks and troughs. But when WWE loses 100,000 viewers week on week it's 2,200,000 v 2,100,000. It's not exactly noticeable. When AEW loses 100,000. It's 800,000 v 700,000. Percentage wise, it's massive. The audience for AEW stateside is a lot smaller. The UK from memory has always been a passionate base. I remember TNA at one point essentially moving to London for a few months, and the returning regularly. At the time, it was almost suggested they move to the UK permanently as no one in the US cared enough to show up. This is TNA at Wembley.... Arena.

Well with AEW or TNA you have to go when they come to the UK because they may never get to return.

Do you think a Hayter/Storm rubber match could be in the books for All In after tonight?

At 74,888 tickets out now. 12,937 tickets left with the upper deck fully opened. They are pushing to fill the entire arena after all and going for 90k attendance.
By real numbers one of the most attended wrestling events of all time. Real rank will be near impossible to determine since WWE presents imaginary attendance figures for entertainment purposes, generally adding 10k to 20k to the real number.
But looking to be in the end the second most attended non-Korea wrestling show after WM-32 with a verifiable attendance record.

They've updated the setup for All In.
They're setting up for a capacity of nearly 88,000 for the event.
They have already sold nearly 75,000 tickets so far.
If they can get the Osprey/Omega rubber match signed, then for sure, they'll sell the whole fucker out.

They gonna sell out for sure. No matches even announced. Gonna be a historic event. I am almost certain they will find a way to cram in over 90k fans. And if they can beat 94k, which is pushing it, they will be largest wrestling event outside of Korea that can be verified.
Or Tony can just pull a Vince and just call it 110k fans.

They have a chance to sell it out but it will be difficult. Those 12k tickets that are remaining represent in itself what would be one of the highest company attendances in history so they won’t be easy to shift, but with buzz and FOMO they could get there.

Collision in Korea. Was two WCW / NJPW events in North Korea where people were mandated to attend by Kim Jong Il. Said to be crowds of about 150k each day. Given people literally could have been arrested for not showing up these are kind of in their own area. Also had to buy tickets themselves, because of course, so the event's gate is unmatched. Event on Youtube.

Show already sold out in the first configuration or was really close to. Opening the full top is wild. Not sure if they fill it completely, but can see them just giving upper deck tickets the last tickets weeks before the show. Tony already made his cash, so now he just wants to pack it.
